we are what we are. we are not puppets, we do things good or bad of our own choice. religion nowadays does not account for EVERYONE in the world. The trouble with the world is that all these religious beliefs (good or bad) exclude everyone else. Christianity is just as much an exclusionist as Islam or Hinduism because it focuses on different beliefs to others. The religious belief that satan is in a 1000 year reign is basically contributing to the state of the world because, yet again, it has preaching and exclusionist qualities. Its o.k to have beliefs but religion is exclusionist against everyone except its own. Where's the good in that?

If this is "Satan's thousand year reign" why can I still be happy, fall in love, read a good book, do good work in the community, help old ladies across the road without being boiled in brimstone?
Or maybe we are just still waiting.

When Jesus returns it's to claim us, plain and simple. Maybe the thousand year reign started when Jesus was born...maybe a thousand year's God's time isn't the same as ours...maybe's...all of them.

Jesus has already returned but not in the way you think.
The second coming has not happened as of this typing (it could happen any time), but Jesus is among us. St. Ambrose describes the coming of Christ into our daily lives as the third coming of Christ which happens between the first and the second.

OK not a proper question but... yes. Jesus will return because the sign of the end times have happened and are happening. I also believe that he may even be among us now but is waiting for his appointed time.
