You should avoid junk food, white breads and white pastas and rice( swich to whole grain) and sugar. A little bit of healthy (unsaturated) fat is ok. That can actually help you loose weight. Also foods like peanut butter, if eaten in moderation CAN be healthy if you get the kind that is ONLY made out of peanuts and salts. Avoid full fat products and go skim and low fat. Try to get all your fruit from whole fruit, not dried or juices. If you want, post some of your favourite junk foods, and I will post some healthy alternatives. One more thing, never skip meals!

carbohydrates such as: breads cookies cakes pasta.
sugar. completely forget about sodas although pretty much everything nowadays has a lot of sugar.
artificial fats. nacho cheese for example. these are fats that are too difficult for the body to assimilate.
and drink a lot of water.

ALL FOODS YOU MUST AVOID. Skip all food for 2 days, drink lots of water and mulitviatamins, you will lose 9 pounds--IT HAPPENED TO ME IT WORKS!!! GOOD LUCK :)

junk food like chips, candy, and soda. stay away from foods with too much fats in it. look in the ingredients
