Because we feel shame, it must be some absurd sense of intelligence that causes this.

Hi, a goodly question, no doubt.
People actually make clothing for pets. So I agree. I was told off during a minor hospital visit for not wearing pyjamas ! do not mind folks seeing my bits and peices, it is their problem.
The old traditional image of a Christian god has a big white gown on, yet Buddha is semi-naked.
Where do you go with this, and what should I be thinking.
OK, naked women have always been an attraction to men, for natural reasons,but I doubt if Eve said to Adam
" Do you like my T>ts ?
No there is an interesting snake up an apple tree over there.
I don't think so.
Heck, whateever you are comfortable with, so I let others make their judgements.

He didn't. Clothing became necessary after Adam and Eve ate from the tree of good and evil. That is when they realized that they were naked for the first time. God stitched the skins of an animal to clothe them. They were naked and hiding from the word of God, out of shame.

He didnt, Adam and Eve did not have clothes until they ate of the apple, this gave them knowledge of good and evil and therefore shame. They covered up their nakedness in shame after this, and that is why we wear clothes

He didn't make us so that we need to wear clothes, it was only when sin came into this world that our nakedness was revealed and we were kicked out of paradise where clothes were unnecessary. Then God made the first set of clothes for us in his tender mercy.
Genesis 3:6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths.
Genesis 3:21 And the LORD God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them. 22 Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever--" 23 therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken. 24 He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.
They were ashamed of their nakedness because they were stripped of the covering of light that they had before sinning and they realized that they were defiled in the sight of God as shamefaced sinners with nothing to cover them. That's why the blood of Jesus is now our covering of righteousness in a spiritual sense.

You need to read your Bible, He did not make us to wear clothes.
Adam and Eve were naked in the garden. After they disobeyed they became aware and ashamed of their bodies, and covered themselves with leaves. Read it! It is a very interesting account.

Humans originally did not wear clothes. But once we started wearing them, we evolved dependency on them. Imaginary old men inthe sky had nothing to do with it.
