I'm surmising konlobos is a fictional fruit, and that is how you define 'freaky'.
For the non-American diet unusual fruits are logans, mangosheens, durians and starfruit. These all have distinct flavours from each other or any other fruit and are found in various Asian markets.

There is a certain fruit called the egg fruit( not egg plant) which is a pale yellow in colour and grows on trees. Believe it or not....it really tastes like a boiled eggs yolk!!
