Different religions often have different beliefs on how to go about things. For example if you were to ask a Roman Catholic priest what exactly an exorcism entailed, he would tell you that the Catholic doesn't perform exorcisms anymore, unless extreme conditions apply, and even then so much proof is required that it takes ages for the authorisation to come through.
There's a link for Wikipedia at the bottom that explains different methods of exorcisms, hopefully that will help. I'm sorry I couldn't give you a better answer but I'm afraid that what the churches do is sometimes only understood by the churches!

I am a muslim. Where do you get information that "in Islam the Imam convert the demon first to Islam before letting the demon go"? Are you just making that up or basing it on something one person said or what?
If you want to discuss Islam, you have to quote the Quran or Sunnah and then there can be a real discussion about the religion's teachings.

in Islam it is the jinn who possess the human being and the Koran is used to make these jinns out either by converting them to Islam or by killing them

Exorcisms are still performed by some experts in Islam but how effective they are is not clear to me.. As far as I know, it is not necessary for the Imam to convert the demon to Islam although he may give him an offer. He may just cast him out.

Christians use evil ways to make the Jinn (demon) go out (he uses things that please Shaytan) to make him out, while muslims use Qur'an, and when they do it, they have a chance to call someone to islam, if the Jinn accepted it is ok, if not then he tell him but you must go out.
hope you've seen the right way of doing it, as some wiches hide under the look of imam and do it (by pleasing Shaytan: saying unknown words or drawing some characters).

I DONT KNOW what is your religion but i shall tell you that the islam is a religion for the "thakalein" (man and demon) so mohamed WAS sent by god to informe mans and demons that there is a new religion called islam and all the
poeple and demons shall convert to this religion and they shall informe every one they meet .so it's an obligation for the muslims to report and to informe all the humanity and demons all over the world by this grate religion.but inviting poeple with peaceful ways .this is why the IMAM DEMANDES to the demon to convert to islam but he shouldn't obligate him

Demons (jinns) are like humans, they profess different religions, some are muslims, some are christians and some have no religion. Usually the jinns that possess humans are non-muslim jinns, therefore it is possible that imam may convert them to Islam before letting it go for his/her own sake. So that he/she (jinn) may go to Paradise.
The link below confirms your question. This jinn has converted to Islam.
P.S. To Akmal: Please note that not all jinns are going to Hell. Please refer to books on jinns if you need more info.

I dont know why thats so, but the mechanisim of how the exorcism is performed is surprisingly similar, as in, both need to have they're holy books (bible or quran) and quote from it, and all the other stuff.

The question is moot because while prior to the bestowal of the" spirit of truth "some rebellious spirits did inhabit humans since this bestowal these bad guys have lost the power to inflict themselves upon us. Praise be.
