Try putting the leash up higher on his neck. Roll the length of the leash up that your holding in your hand so the dog can't get ahead of you. Every time he tries to pull or get ahead of you jerk the leash to the side real quick. That gets it's attention and then give him the command. It may take a few tries but be consistent. Your not enjoying the walk and neither is the dog if he's pulling on you all the time. It's okay to spoil them but never let them think their in charge of you. If that starts then they will get aggressive fast. Good luck.

Spend a little time working with your dog & you'll be the leader, not the dog, which is what's going on now. The dog isn't spoiled, you're just lazy.

We train our dogs to heel - the moment we bring them home. They walk calmly at our sides, wherever we go. We usually walk two at a time.
We do alot of traveling with our dogs, and it's important that they're all well behaved wherever we are.

Although my Afghan, Natasha is so affectionate and sweet, I used to dread walking her. She would take me all over the place until I finally enrolled her in Obedience School. Now we both have happy, healthy, and refreshing walks together!

It is natural for a dog to pull on its master because he thinks hes the boss, hit his backside with a rolled up newspaper but only if he pulls to hard. Roll it loosely so it makes a noise don't let him have it for a toy!!
