Interesting STUDY, but I find the 7 qualities to be inaccurate, as well as unclear:

1. Way of living. Are you referring to the way of living of the followers or of the doctrine?

2. Justice, by definition: the quality of being just; righteousness, equitableness, or moral rightness.
In order to propose justice, it is necessary to also propose the AUTHOR of the quality of righteousness, equitableness and morality. What do those things mean to the followers?

3. Peace. Again, are we referring to the leader or the followers?

4. Scientific Approach. This is a major conflict, as religion is not based on science, neither is science based on religion.

5. What the religion has done for his follower. Well, well...we humans DO seek to gain, don't we. How about what the FOLLOWER had done IN his religion!

6. What the religion has done for the rest of the world. This is like saying what television has done for the world. It's not the object that acts, but the presenters and the observers. So, are you really saying what the followers/believers do for the rest of the world? If so, can the participants gage this, or does the evidence?

7. Politics. This one is touchy, and interesting indeed...even in my OWN belief (I am a charismatic, non-denominational Christian). As a follower of Christ, I often wonder WHY my brothers and sisters (other believers of Christ) understand that we surrender our "rights" to Christ, dying to self, accepting martyrdom in His name, AND trust HIM for our resources and our freedom (Jehovah Jireh, The Provider), yet we participate in political (as evil as it is) viewpoints, stances and proclamations. I don't get it, but my belief has no need of politics (if GOD be for me, WHO can be against me?).

In summary, there is no such thing as a good/bad, better/best religion. There is only THE God and a good/bad, better/best follower of HIM.

One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism.
One God and Father of all, who is above all, through all and IN us all.
--Ephesians 4:5, 6

Blessings!

Muslims contribution to the western world - in art, architecture, astronomy, medicine, science, and learning is the basis of our civilization today .

The early Muslims are credited with inventing distillation and could distil just about anything - from alcohol to perfume. Hygiene is very important in the Muslim world so they invented and manufactured soap - centuries before the West - and hundreds of bathhouses were built throughout Muslim cities. They understood the fundamentals of light and how we see, and gave us the camera obscura. They invented algebra and worked out the angle of the tilt of the earth. They built the first windmill, pioneered the concept of the crank rod, and designed the first ever torpedo.

Muslim creativity also led to the invention of a unique instrument called the astrolabe – it could find the direction of Mecca, tell the time and, with the help of the stars, navigate you across deserts and oceans. But perhaps most important of all they pursued the cause of knowledge, translating and preserving the works of the ancients and building the world's largest libraries – their 'houses of wisdom'.

It looks like a pretty complicated list. There is a very simple solution. Just ask Jesus into your heart. Let Him lead you home. Simply, put your trust in Jesus. Life is not a bed of roses, it's just a journey back home. Jesus will lead you down the path, bumps and all. Have a great day!

God is God, what ever name we want to assign to him.

There is a story of several blind mice who went out one day to discover what an elephant is like. Each one touches a different part, but only one part, such as the side or the tusk. Depending upon where they touch, they believe the elephant to be like a water spout (trunk), a fan (ear), a pillar (leg), etc.

I compare this to many wise men who went soul searching to learn what God is like. As great & wise as these men were, they were like blind mice compared to the greatness of God. Each came away with a different perspective of God. And many different religions were started from these different perspectives. Neither are totally wrong, neither are completely right.

God is God, what ever name we want to assign to him.
