This is a follow up on my other question. People state there is a choice for someone of no faith. So if a baby does not yet have faith, do they have a choice of going to heaven or hell.

Depends on what your personal beliefs are. Some Christians believe in pre-destination, meaning no matter what a person does in his/her life, the decision on whether they enter Heaven or Hell has been decided long before they are born, and their actions do not dictate where they go. However, in terms of free will, it has been argued that although a baby does not have faith, they have no control over their actions and have no idea what is right or wrong. Some would say that because they have not committed evil, they will go to Heaven. The Church also described a place called limbo, where babies who have not been baptized go after they die

Yes babies go to hell if they are not devout, but have you ever seen a baby reading the bible? I have not , so all babies go to hell if they die before they are saved, according to the bible. For the people that dont believe me just read the story of sodom and Gomorrah, in it the lord says he will not destroy the two cities if there are at least 10 faithful people there. there were not enough faith ful to stop gods wrath so God destroyed the two cities. Now, in that entire city there had to be children and infant babies living among the people, right? So, that means that the children and babies were evil and not faithfull, there for they were destroyed by god and are now in hell!

by the way I am an atheist and don't believe most of what the bible has to say.

Children dying before adolescence do not have choice to go hell, they go to heaven no matter their parents believes in or not any religion. Because they are considered as not mature enough to decide about having faith or not All the best : )

Babies are not capable of making complex decisions; therefore when they die they automatically go to heaven regardless of the parents beliefs. God is merciful and loving and his loves the little children. He loves adults also, but adults have the ability to decide their fate. they are given the chance to decide whether they want Jesus or the world----mist go for the world, and thus end up in hell.

Babies are inocent. And Jesus loves all children and babies. He wouldent let them go to hell, never! And nobody would take a choice to burn in hell forever. I think, every child that can not take decicions by himself, will always be protectet and carried by Jesus. And (if the babies and children die) go to heaven...

Depends on your denomination.
Traditionally the Catholic church believed that unborn children or children that died prior to baptism were sent to limbo/purgatory. But since the HRCC has since abandoned the concept of limbo, i'm not sure what the position on it is now.

For most of the other parts of Christendom innocents are allowed entry into heaven.

I was always told that in the eyes of God, children are innocent. Until they know right from wrong they are innocent. Therefore, they will go to heaven. When they reach the age of knowing right from wrong and choose to do wrong.... then hell for them.

the way I understand this situation is that until the child has reached a level of maturity to know certain differences between right and wrong they have Grace. after reaching the age where they can determine the difference they need to accept Grace.
