I find it hilarious when Muslims get defensive. They are members of perhaps the most universally violent religion in the history of the world, right up there with Christianity, yet they somehow find the gall to throw temper tantrums when someone hurts their feelings.
Jeez, at least Christians have come to generally accept the idea that killing people is wrong. Most of the time.

Lea, doesn't realize how close that comment about "watching your back is". I just read that a Nun was shot in the back by one of those peace loving Muslims. She was working in a Somali hospital. I know a lot has been said about how Christians killed and pillaged through the ages. BUT this is the Modern world, it's just not acceptable. WHY can't the Muslim/Islamic people get beyond their backward way of thinking and progress into Modern society?

As a Muslim I accept his appology and explaination. I agree with you that we have many more important things to worry about. One of these thing I discovered here in Yahoo answers is how much there are people who are so hateful to us and so rude, although I am sure that also within us there are such hateful and rude people. Let us try to understand each other instead of exchanging bad words!
I hope there will be no one welling to start war with Catholics. Please remember that most of the wars in the past decades started by the divinely inspired christian GW Bush!

Christians need to STOP P0INTING FINGERS. Christians claim to lead by example. Shouldn't the "infallible" Pope also lead by example. Has he forgotten the atrocitities committed by the Crusaders who raided Arabs in their own land? Just because it slipped the the Pope's mind doesn't mean the Arabs have forgotten. He made a very poor choice in choosing his quote! He should accept responsibility for it rather than blaming his speech writer. That's what good leadership demands -- tolerance and leading by example. Instead of teaching his people respect for all others, he has taught his people disrespect. I'm afraid there's already enough of that in the world.
The Roman Catholic Church has shown enough intolerance in the past -- let future Popes get on with teaching tolerance by example!

I absolutely agree. Everyone in this world should be more tolerant of each other and not start protesting every now and then.
