Infatuation is what "somebody" tells you that you are feeling, when you tell that "someone" you are in love, and they don't want you to be in love.......from what I have noticed from experience. But the defintion of infatuation is to : Inspire with foolish passion. It's sort of like someone saying "You're just silly in the head *****"...heh heh Well, are ya? Or are ya in love?

Infatuation is when you simply think you love someone...It comes just as quickly as it goes....Infatuation does't mean anything. You keep thinking about the person without really wanting to get t know her, it is simply a fantasy of yours that will never come true...If you do go out with this person you would notice very soon that fantasy was better than the real thing.
When you Love, you slowly grow in Love. Someone once said something very true: "One does not fall in or out of Love. One grows in Love". I don't remember who it was, it was certainly not me, but this is so true. I've had few infatuations but I never acted on them, as it was far better to just imagine...Now I am in Love and there is no comparison to make between the two...Love is amazing. It lasts forever and is so sweet...You don't need to spend your days thinking of the person because you always feel her around. It is like a presence in your mind, ever there protecting you...It is a haven of peace to be in Love...

Love is liking and companionship and respect and trust. Love does not dominate or try to possess. love thrives only in a commitment to pure, mutual freedom. Love allows couples free to live and learn and find personal fulfillment. It is two people who have joined their freedoms to make something more special and more challengiong of their lives.
Infatuation doesn't allow for this and especially doesn't allow for compromise and forgiveness not just of sins but imperfection. It doesn't last and doesn't grow into something deeper.

love is developed, infatuation is usually instant. love is time tested, infatuation usually dies out. Infatuation usually comes with the lack of knowledge of the other person, love comes with great knowledge of the other person.

love grows with time and it is a strong feeling towards your lover that his some bad habbits not even bother you. in infactuation you get attracted to wards a person but at the same time you dislike his/her bad elements.
