Age is only a number.

If there is true love between two people what is age a fact. I am sure at 18 years old. You would know what love is. Maybe not to the fulliest. But at least to some degree.

I just think someone that is younger than 18. Some factors, issues, and laws should be figured.

A guess it depends on how rich of a Brain Surgeon, Orthodontist, Shrink or Stock Broker they are, unless of course they are so rich they don't have to work!

Otherwise two 18 year olds are going to be struggling, each holding down a $15K a year job to pay the minimal bills and when babies come along one works days and the other nights so they don't have to pay baby sitters like four people I know who are still under 30, includine one couple that makes over $120k a year with 3 kids and still rents a house.

Another couple I know (she's a teacher he's a Programmer IV) makes over $225K a year and owns their own home and they can barely make ends meet!

That's how expensive life is.

And don't go dipping into my pocket, I don't approve of welfare. People who can't afford to make babies should sleep in separate bedrooms.

Now if this 31 year old isn't making over $100K a year or is a dead beat loser, then your better off with someone younger unless this is just a fun thing!

Everyone here does realize the average "rich" man "movie" star "TV" star and musical star is married to a girl half their age.

Rod Stewart and Mick Jagger, both in their 60's habbitually have girl friends, mistresses and wifes who are 25 year old models.

There's a cute story of JAck Nickolson (late 50's early 60's) out with this 20 something movies star and Danny DiVito sees them and pays the flower girl $50 to ask Nicholson if he'd like to buy his GRANDAUGHTER a flower! Nicholson blew a fuse until DiVito started rolling on the floor and then he just grinned and told the flower girl to scram.

Don't forget the most famous couple in the world was Bogart and Bacall, he was 54 she was 19 and she says it was the best time in her life when she was with him.

of course, if you care for each other. But becertain that the 18 year old is mature enough to deal with a true relationship. But remember; relationships based on the physical rarely workout long, if ever.

Since there are no laws against it; legal or spiritual. Then there should be no problem; if the love is real. If it isn't, then it will be just a passing fling.

Yes, from the beginning of time age of individuals does not always predict the maturity level of ones self. Age is just a number. Level of maturity occurs at different levels of life as the cards of life and our perception of them are preceived. There are some people that still live at home with parents at lengthy age of fifty years of age. Ethically, I think it's okay, but I would worry that I wouldn;t have anything in common with the other after awhile. I am 27 and I don;t think I could ever be attracted to someone who is 18. If they were 30 and 40, they may work.

A little outside the normal age range, but they are both adults so can do what they want. I see no problem with it. 18 is too young for me, but if you have an immature 31 year old and a mature 18 year old, it can work.

My wife and I married when she was 18 and i was 34, we have been married for 6 years and have a wonderful relationship. It's a common thing that happens all the time. Its no big deal.
Age has nothing to do with it if two people are in love.

Um, not really, but at 18 you ARE an adult, so it's not like 3 years ago when they were 15 and 28 in the eyes of the law. My girlfriend Iris was in love with some now 49-year-old man (she's 23, a year younger than I am) that she met at 13, so there are people like that. (No, he didn't like her back, he was a teacher.)

They are both adults so I think it's OK. I always went out with guys much older than me because I was always very mature for my age and boy's my age always bored me. When I was 23 I was seeing a bloke who was 42, now I have married a guy who's only 6 years older than me. It all depends on the person - not age, colour, religion, sex, etc.
