Of course sin exists.
We are in a sinful state now, having inherited sin from Adam.
Before Adam ate the fruit he was perfect, having being created perfect. If he hadn't ate the fruit he would have lived forever.
Check the Scripture - ROMANS 5:12

That's why we get sick, grow old & die. We are imperfect flesh.

It was God's original purpose for man to live forever on the earth, that's why we were made from the earth. Our idea of paradise is earthly. Just because Adam & Eve (under Satan's direction) brought sin, and so too death upon mankind, it doesn't mean his purpose won't be fulfilled.
It will, and soon - ISAIAH 55:11

God will reverse all the effects brought upon mankind (including sin)

Check the Scriptures

I agree with you. The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?

It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.

One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.

If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.

How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.

If this is the case then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

How likely is that????

Think about it.

The idea of sin is simple nonsense; a lie made up about God by religion.

Sin means different things in different religions so sin is a construct of whatever religion you believe in as is righteousness.

Yes sin really exists. God originally made us to live in paradise with Him, but due to the sin of Adam and Eve, "The Fall", we now all live under Gods curse.
We see the results of sin around us in our daily lives, sickness, aging, death etc.
However, there is a way that leads to life eternal and that is ONLY through the Living Lord Jesus, - The Christ.
John 14:6 tells us, Jesus says, "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me."
But as always man has a choice, if he chooses to go the wicked and evil way of sin, that is his choice, but as for me, and my household, we will serve the Lord.

No - "sin" is a loose moral concept that originally WAS the law in societies.

As religion spread across national borders, it became an abstract concept that exists outside of current societal law.

But again, a looooooooong time again they were the same thing. "Right & Wrong" are concepts dictated by society in whatever they feel is in their best interests.

you have yourself replied correctly to your question.

sin can be called a tool created by god to let us come out of our imperfections and advance on the path of spirituality. It is necessary for the transition between the animal to divine

But human mind reacts strangely to this tool. It tells us about sins of others, and hide our own

we have to wake up

Sin does exist. Wether it be sin against man; murder, rape, theft, or Sin Against God; Blastfamy, using the Lord;s name in vane, etc. The difference is that sin against man has immediate consequences that man hands out. Transcendance is unlikely against sins against man.
