anyone ever experienced PTSD and how to tell?

for the past year or so, i have been randomly dropping into deep depression which only lasts a day or two, and also been waking up in cold sweats infrequently. but i'm not sure if this would be related to my service or is it something else?

A certified counselor would be able to tell you if you have post traumatic stress disorder. Other than symptoms, why do you suspect that?(I mean exactly. It is good to try to pinpoint the cause if posible.)
