I do. Well, I guess my mom actually does it, but I drink out of them. She's been doing it for a long time, way before anyone thought there would be a problem with it. Nothing bad has ever come of it for us, so I guess she'll just keep on doing it until something does happen.

There was a news report on TV about not using the bottles that mineral/ spring water come in...not so much due to the plastic breaking down but the washing of the bottle...apparently, alot of people don't wash the bottles properly and there are alot of fecal containmination.

I use the same bottle for around 2 weeks before changing. Never had any problems. :)

I do because the regulations for water safety within the home are higher than that set by the FDA for bottled water. Besides that we have a deep-well that doesn't contain any sort of chemicals etc...The water is so very clear without the taint of chlorine etc...
I was skeptical at first upon relocating here in the south but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I sometimes (rinse out first) refill the bottle about 1/3 the way with Brita water from my pitcher then lay the bottle down in the freezer to freeze it, then take it out and fill the bottle all the way up with Brita water either for my dog to take in the truck or to use myself.

Sometimes I do but try to do it only for one day then throw the bottle away. Otherwise would have to boil the bottle.
