Have you actually listened to a Imam or Muslim cleric....
What about this from my favourite religious leader.....
"We have witnessed the injustice and oppression done by terrorists taking the lives of innocent people. We have been deeply touched by the killing and the blood shed that took place in New York on Sep. 11, 2001 as well as the horrendous ordeal which took place recently in London. The feeling of witnessing such tragedies is a never ending nightmare for all of us Submitters and peace advocates.
The evil behavior carried out by radical individuals under the banner of Islam seeking political and social gain is strongly objurgated in the religion of Submission (Islam). Teachings that promote aggression, oppression, violence and unjustified killing have no where in the Quran. Terrorism has no place on earth.
The time has now come that we can not remain silent no more. The time has come that we should take action and try our best to prevent terrorism in the world. We hope to bring love, peace and tolerance into this world based on respect, compassion, and a solid foundation of knowledge."

Where do you get your information? The MEDIA? Try talking to some Muslims to know what Imams and Clerics REALLY talk about. My future husband goes to he mosque every Friday. They promote education, patience, tolerance, communication, caring for you families, etc... Never once has the the lesson been about terrorism, retaliation or hatred.

How do you know what Imams say if you don't go to mosques?
Your question makes me sure that you know nothing about Islam.
Wake up people, you just hear things from here and there about Islam and the sorrowful thing is that you ask such questions without going to mosques to know what Imams say, you talk about Islam and you don't visit Islamic countries, you talk about Islam and you don't read Holy Quran, and if you decide to read it you go to someone who hates Islam that makes you read a Quran made by him, that's bad humans.
Wake up people
Wake up
I am a Muslim, I condemn all the terror acts in New York, in London, in Madrid... and in any country in the world. A lot of terror acts were done by Muslims in the name of Islam but if you study Islam you will find that this religion does condemns such acts.
These acts are bad and don'nt reflect humanity but you must find out the reasons behind such acts. When USA and UK invade and occupy Iraq you will find some Muslims who will do such acts in New York and London, this doesn't mean that I admire such acts but this is a fact. When Israel continues occupying Palestinian lands and kill Palestinians, such acts may happen. Stop terror against Muslims and then you will not see any of these acts.

Thank you
Mike

Shaykh 'Abdul-'Azeez Aal ash-Shaykh says attacks are an "oppression, injustice and tyranny"...

Shaykh 'Abdul-'Azeez Aal ash-Shaykh, the muftee (one qualified to pass fatwa) of Saudi Arabia and the head of the Council of Senior Scholars and The Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Fataawa has said (Monday 17 September, 2001) that: "The explosions which have taken place in the United States of America are but a strike of oppression, injustice and tyranny - (all) which are not in agreement with the Sharee'ah of Islam."

And his excellency said: "Indeed, these dangerous incidents have done away with thousands of lives, that which is not in agreement with the Sharee'ah of Islam, and it is not from this religion which strongly opposes hostility and hatred which are not legally justified as a form of hostility and hatred."

And he said: "Indeed, Allaah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) has commanded (us with justice, and upon this the heavens (and the earth) were created, and He has prohibited oppression fro himself, and has made it prohibited between His servants (mankind)".

The Shaykh went on to clarify that: "These incidents which have occurred in the United States and that which are similar to these incidents are as a result of hijacking airplanes and terrorising the peace, unjustly killing people - (and all of this) is nothing but oppression and tyranny".

And he added that: "The Muslim scholars should explain the truth in such situations and clarify for the world the Islamic position, and that the religion of Islam does not endorse such acts".

"Muhammad Sayid Tantawy, the current Imam of Al-Azhar ( which "is a premier Egyptian institution of higher learning, world-renowned for its position as a center of Islamic scholarship and education. Al-Azhar was once considered by most Sunni Muslims to be the most prestigious school of Islamic learning, and its scholars were seen as some of the most reputable scholars in the Muslim world." ), has declared that the perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks and suicide bombers are "heretics" who are not following the true path of Islam. In a recent conference in Indonesia, he asked all "true believers" to deny speakers of extremist and heretical forms of Islam places to speak in the mosque, thus preventing the spread of violent ideologies. Ali Gomaa', the Egyptian Mufti associated with Al Azhar, has also declared that insurgents who kidnap and kill civilans in Iraq are the ones which Islam has authorized to thwart and eradicate since they wreak havoc on Earth."

Most do promote peace. The news media just mentions the ones who do not---for sensationalism. Where would the media be without this?..........very boring news.

I could add, why do you believe everything the media says? Each country and political regime is going to have the news slanted in their favor.

Because the Christian pastors and priests are too busy counting their bank accounts. they are the ones who should be responsible preaching their so called "good news" to the Arab world so that love will be spread throughout the world! Time is running out. Arab children are already being taught to hate Christians and when the time comes if they grow up there will be World War.
