"vacations to go" specializes in last minute cruises (90 days or less). i've also had good luck on orbitz, cruise 411, cruises only, expedia, and travelocity. hope this helps.

Check to see if you qualify for any discounts: Military (carnival even gives this to veterans if served at least 2 years and honorably discharged) Over 55 years old, certain zipcodes for certain cruises. Vacations to go is a nice place to check because they will list cruises by discount categories. Keep in mind that the list is not all inclusive, but it can give you a great idea what discounts are available. I always check mulitple websites, then call the cruiseline directly and ask about discounts for the above mentioned categories. I found that the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas are very reasonable, but as soon as you include Christmas or New Years the price will probably rise dramatically. Good Luck!

This is the busiest time of the year for the cruise lines and they book up very quickly. You will pay a premium to cruise at this time. Contact a travel agent who can search a lot of cruise lines and get the best deal for you. My recommendation would be www.sixthstartravel.com. They're located in Plantation - other side of the world from you, but they'll do a great job for you.
