Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.
Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955), "Science, Philosophy and Religion: a Symposium", 1941
At any rate, I am convinced that He [God] does not play dice.
Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955), In a letter to Max Born, 1926
Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish.
Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)
Ethical axioms are found and tested not very differently from the axioms of science. Truth is what stands the test of experience.
Albert Einstein
My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind.
Albert Einstein

Not believing in religion does not make one an atheist. I do not believe in any religion as being right in and of itself.

No.

And what's with the quotes? Einstein was an atheist:

"I see only with deep regret that God punishes so many of His children for their numerous stupidities, for which only He Himself can be held responsible; in my opinion, only His nonexistence could excuse Him."

- Albert Einstein

It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious, then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it.

- Albert Einstein

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.

- Albert Einstein

"I cannot conceive of a god who rewards and punishes his creatures or has a will of the kind we experience in ourselves. Neither can I nor would I want to conceive of an individual that survives his physical death; let feeble souls, from fear or absurd egotism, cherish such thoughts. I am satisfied with the mystery of the eternity of life and a glimpse of the marvelous structure of the existing world, together with the devoted striving to comprehend a portion, be it ever so tiny, of the Reason that manifests itself in Nature."

Creation comes from God. I call it "Heavenly Spark". :)
All researchers know that. Of course Einstein knew it as well...
I agree with him. Those who discover or create something useful for humanity are blessed with a closer insight into God's laboratory. Shame on them if they don't believe in the universal order and purpose of things... I don't mean they should be specifically or particularly religious, okay?
I just think that reason and belief go hand in hand, one is always enforcing the other, and viceversa! That is how we humans are built and that is how our productivity and creativity goes up to the optimum level.
I see no contradiction between reason and belief. Einstein was lucky. He got really close to God in his work. I call that the level of illumination. Rarely happens for ordinary people. One needs to work a lot on oneself to get there.

Frail & feeble mind is the only theory that I aspire to from Einstein. I believe in One GOD. HE who is, was and always will be. Father, Son & Holy Spirit, One in Three.......My Savior and the only thing I have left in this lousy uninspiring thing that is mistaken for life. I have no life. It was stolen from me twice in the last 18 months. Once by GOD'S calling one home and the other by the whore of the beast.............this is my lifesong ~p~

Eienstein says that if anything were to accelerate to the speed of light, its mass would become infinite. God is infinite, God is light.
