He's the one who accepts you even if you've failed. He's the one who listens when no one else is there for you. He's the inner hurt as well as the outer hurt. He's a friend. He never condemns, abuses or hurts in any way.

I wouldn't dare to give a definition of my own because then I would be treading dangerously close to committing the sin of idolatry, creating a "god" of my own imagination.
Jesus is the Word who was with God and who is God. He is my Lord and Savior. He is also my friend and my "brother".
Matthew 12:50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother."
John 15:14 You are My friends if you do what I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, because a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, because all things which I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

He is my Saviour, the Son of God, who walked the earth and suffered temptation & ridicule and lived a human life to better understand His people. He then paid the ultimate price by dying on the cross after being tortured to save me from past, present and future sin. He is loving, kind, understanding & forgiving.
He is our hope and the light of the world.
