Isaw a dog the other day and it was so skinny i thought it might snap. It couldnt sit down and its back legs couldnt bend, so more or less it was waddling. I got the number of the house but I couldnt find it. So I decided I should call the RSPCA or something, but I dont know the number. Can Anyone help?

Animal cruelty is a crime. You can call the police, the ASPCA . Have you ever watched the animal channel. Dogs are rescued all the time. Ask questions of these services. You can call animal control but ask questions. These people will contact the owner and get the dog from the owner. There is a fine and perhaps jail time for the abuser and they sign over the dogs to the humane society or aspca. You are better to ask the facilities
first. Whatever you do, do it fast. There may be more dogs in distress.

I listed the RSPCA link for you.....also call your local police department or animal control. Animal control can set up a "trap" to catch the dog and get him back to the shelter and try to treat him as well.

It is good to see that there are people who do still care for animals, so many people buy pets and them for whatever negligent reason, just let them go instead of keeping them or trying to find them a better home.

Call your local animal hospital and they will either get in touch with the authorities, or they will help you get in touch with them. Your animal hospitals are not only medical centers for your animals, they are also advocates for the well being of all animals. If they knew that this was going on, they are obligated to do something, and usually they are more persuasive than an eye witness.
Good luck and call them now.

I don't know the number because I'm from the States, but usually you can notify the local police, and they'll call in animal rescue. Even Animal Control can help. Your phone operator should be able to help get the info you need.

The ASPCA is a very good idea. Alsp your local humane society(dog pound) and the police. This is a crime and the police are treating it just like it is. Please don't let the poor thing suffer another day, call the athorities. The dog deserves so much better than what he's gotten. Thank you for careing and bless you. Good luck.
