i have searched this all over the internet but it came up with some virus protector thingy.
please can someone help me with this

Mime is acting out ideas without speech. It probably started in the earliest days of mankind, before spoken language had developed. Think of how a baby, not yet about to talk, let's her needs by known.

Mime is to act with out using your voice (So you could be feeding two kids using mime and the kids cant scream or anything, when you are performing) As for where it originates from I have no idea but I'll ask my drama teacher for ya ;)
