There is no such thing.
There are far too many people on earth who have the exact opposite gene sets than you whose pheremones might set you off some day, so that alone is a scientific partial proof of no such thing as soul mates. Kindred spirits, maybe.

well it may sound like a myth but soul mates exist. they are not what they are made out to be but are definitely right for you. There can be more than one soul mate for you because in this whole wide world you are likely to click with more than one person. Stay open to the idea but dont assume you will have violins playing around you when he appears. It may actually be a slow discovery process through which you will know him better and realize he is the one. wish u luck

Oh God, I hate that term, people always say I am looking for my soul mate, uggahhhh, give me a break, what the hay is a soul mate, how can yhour sould have anything until you die and only then if you believe in God, but here and now they need to find some one loving and compaable, who is not a butterfly!

no. relationships are hard work.. you don't just go walking out in a park and suddenly realize that the person sitting on the bench is your soul mate. that only happens in movies. i think a soul mate is someone you would trust your life with, and like any friendship.. you nurture this.. you let it grow. i found mine a couple of years ago. and despite all the trials and tribulations that we have gone through we are still together.

I used to think so, but as I get older, I doubt that. I think there are many possible soul mates for you out there, not just one.
I have felt that I found mine before, but later changed my mind!

soulmate is that person in ur life who thinks in the line that u think , ur frequencies match.
