Sign of End Times?

Here is a list, it is kinda long but name the ones if any you think we are in right now................

1. Miscellaneous Signs
Here are some specific signs that will be occurring as told by Jesus to His apostles in the New Testament.

a. Perilous times will come.
b. False Christs and False Prophets will come to deceive even the elect.

c. Wars and rumors of wars.

d. Nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom.

e. Increase in famines, pestilences and earthquakes.

f. Lawlessness and immorality will abound.

g. The love of many will grow cold.

h. Some Christians will depart from the faith giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.

i. Men will become lovers of self, lovers of money, unholy, proud, boasters, blasphemers, unloving, disobedient to parents, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, traitors, headstrong, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God and unthankful.

j. The Holy Spirit will be poured out on all flesh

Obviously most of these things are happening in our world. We are at war, there is still hunger even in our own country, the divorce rate is 50% and people have definitely become lovers of money and material posessions & power. The one positive thing is that studies show that more people are going to church or getting into faith & spirituality. I do think we take our lives for granted and especially our freedoms. No one knows when the end will come, but one of the sure signs will be when peace comes to the Middle East. Have faith & don't fear the future just be prepared.

They say that Its nothing new? Life has always been this way? Let me look back to my grand fathers and there Grand fathers...lemme see...Bloods , Crips, Crack, and Lots of Meth, 17 year old kids in the streets with mac 10' uzzies, all the kids in my great grandpas' school were pregnet, they dabbled in wich craft, and only cared about there new lap tops, and IPOdS, uummm Of course we were cloning through stem cell science back in those days, and Denounced Jesus Christ and all he stands for with Hatred that only Satan him self can produce...what else? lots of Cop Killers!! and ICBM missle silo's!! Oh the good ol days..The sugar and Salt ...you should have seen the fat kids and parents back then. All our presidents have always killed for oil and gold "Duh" Our Cartoons were demonic, Violent, promoted sex and Partying. All our advertising was done with double D Jugs, STD's for minors were always hip, The Poison Halloween Candy that killed kids, Clubbin!! almost for got how our nation just loved to hit the night club and pop "E". Yeah Id Say History is deffinatly repeating it self. Even Our Cave Men divorced there wifes over Gambling habbits at Casino's. We all Know June Cleaver was "seeing" the mail man while WARD was teaching Wally and the Beaver how to bust a dope Gangster Rap....well actually Wally was in to Death Metal...Thats why he killed all those kids in that high school shooting befor he joind a popular homosexual cult that worshiped Aliens. I dont see any thing new now that has not already happened in the past 2000 years.

As for The wars...GOD new the technological Peak we would reach would give us the power to see all wars On CNN...well thats if we wernt fighting in one at the time.

Prophecies always come true if you don't fix them on a particular date. The signs are always there if you want to see them. If it was for those who like to make interpretations of these prophecies, the world as we know it has ended at least hundreds of times since these prophecies were written. But every prophecy about "the end of the world as we know it" can become a self fulfilling prophecy if some powerful people believe in them and start acting accordingly when they think to recognize their interpretation of the signs.

The problem with your list is that these conditions have existed largely for centuries. it is just more noticable with the advent of telecommunications and internet. Men have been killing, cheating, lying, fighting one another, starving to death, and suffering from natural disasters and plagues since before Christ. False prophets have been available in abundance. This underscores the danger of attempting to decypher "end times". Jesus said when he comes back it will be as a a thief in the night. Stop guessing and apply for Christian ideals toward a solution to the problems, is my suggestion.

Your list can be applied to any date for the last 5,000 years. No doubt it will be used by believers for the next 5,000 years until people figure out that the "end times" are just a device to make believers feel they are special and different from other people.

Now combine all that with Nostradamus prediction's and we are very very close to the end. If I recall correctly this is predicted to be the last pope, so the timing is quite interesting.

deazone is exactly correct. There's has never been a time in history when people didn't read those words and think they applied to them. If you think about it very, Very, VERY carefully, there isn't a prediction in your list you couldn't find in a fortune cookie. They're so vague, they can apply at any time.
