I have had enough of arguments
None of this matters anymore.
I am sick to death of discussions,
I have walked out of that door.
They can bicker amongst themselves.
I do not care just what is said.
I am tired of the foolishness.
I will put my account to bed.
They argue needlesly, foolishly,
About things they cannot change.
I find their fights depressing.
And all this bitterness so strange
Perhaps in time I shall return,
The answer I cannot say,
But for now I leave this forum,
Looking forward to a brighter day.

Peace Be With You All,
Now and Always,
Debra

Life is precious, within the eons of time , our flame only so briefly shines it's light.During these last few day's in the universe of YA your light shone bright and radiated it's warmth. My soul and that of others received nourishment from it .We saw kindness and love illuminated by it. Our moments in the YA spotlight are not for ever. Soon our voices will be drowned out buy the chatter of the increasing hum of millions of entries in this YA forum.
You spoke in a large plaza where the drunks and the rude yelled the loudest .The apparent argumentative and base nature of many the participants is because of the broadness of the crowd you have spoken to.
There comes a point in which you must decide if instead of offering morsels of food to the hungry you are just "casting pearls to the swine". I'm afraid that sometimes in YA, we come to this point. So as we are admonished and taught there comes a point when one must " dust off ones sandals" and leave behind the unrepentant. You have already planted some of your seeds in this landscape. Go where the Lord leads you to next. Care for yourself and loved ones. see you in Heaven sister.

I know how you feel Debra. God loves you and He needs you for the very reason you want to leave. Sometimes it might feel like you are thowing pearls to the pigs..but remember: There is not too small service for God.

People are here for different reasons. You are so sincere and compassionate person that it can break your heart to deal with the adversity here.Take a break. Breath in and out. You are needed and loved here. You must be one of the most loving persons here on this column.

Do not feel that nothing good is coming from your planted seeds. You never know when the seed will bear afruit. You just keep planting. God will take care of the rest. You are a precious angel of God. Pray about it.

Your family is important, your work is importnt, your timeis important. I am so glad Debra that I got to be friends with you. We need to invest on relationships with people who are there for you no matter you are going through. I can honestly say that you matter to me, a lot. I never expected to make any friens here. But you are one of the first ones that I truely hoped to get to know outside of the R/S.

Just be like a little Goldilocks. Find where you feel right. If something is too hot, leave and look from other place..if that is too cold...keep on looking...until it is right for you. I feel that you need to be right here to spread your light onto others...everything in moderation, and a little break is good to give you the time to think "What's next".

You are cincerelly appreciated.

I have seen some thoughtful answers, and I will miss them. There was another Q by a discouraged man. I can't find it and it may be they removed it. He wanted to know why he should stay under such conditions. Some people said that, although, we feel the same way (I have left 3 times already), they stay because sometimes a seed is planted. We can't expect what we do to be appreciated. What Jesus did was mostly not appreciated, and he was crucified. We will be treated the same way.
I know what you mean about it being depressing too. I hope that your vacation from here, and being in a more positive atmosphere takes care of that.
God bless you.

Your poem is heart breaking. It reminded me of the time when I was married and we used to argue over the dumbest things that didn't really even matter. We used to fight over bills, that we couldn't change. Why we ever took out our anger on eachother I will never know. Your poem made me feel bad for argueing in front of my child. Although he was young I am sure he felt the effects but couldn't express it to us. I was very foolish back then.

I don't know who your poem is about, but I sure could relate to it in my own way.

I hope you have your brighter day. Perhaps you should show this poem to the people that it is about. I don't know if it would do any good but perhaps it would sink in their heads that their foolish fighting is not only effecting them but also you.

Peace be with you!

I stopped arguing a long time, after feeling same as you... I turned into: Better knowing and loving than use words that hurt... I try so much to find my inner peace, and give peace and silence instead of accusing words. I AM on my way, I AM on my aim. I AM.

Thank you so much for your nice poetry, and if you are in search for a spiritual friend,- just ask, i d love to share beauty with you,- beauty of poetry, beauty of art, beauty of the world, beauty that tears walls apart.

Love be with you, always.

Peace be with you Debra.

Sadly, I feel that I am fighting a battle that I can not win myself and will either retire from R&S or from this forum completely.

To bad really, so many misconceptions and outright lies that really need to be addressed.

As they say at Mass. . .

"Go out and serve the Lord"

Your efforts here are much appreciated and I am sure that you have touched more than one person.

Thank you for all that you have given me, personally. You will be remembered in my prayers.

I also too felt too bored to answer. I just get myself kick off with questions that might bring back some senses to some people in this forum.

God bless.

Hugs Debra. We all do what we need to in order to feel better and there is nothing wrong with that. You always know where to find me.

I know the feeling. We still love you though!

It's best to do what we've all done from time to time and just take a few days away from it.

Or maybe forever.

See you on 360!

I like you Debra but didn't you state this before and start posting a few days later?
