I've just noticed how many questions I've asked in relation to comic books. Now, I love comics and know an unbelievable amount about them. But I just thought, do girls find guys who like comic books just plain sad, geeky and boring? Would u girls go out with somebody with that big an interest in comics?

Re: Leila M. I feel I misrepresented myself. I don't live comic books, I just have a great memory and can remember great amounts of info about them.

Most girls are not into comic books, but if you hang out in a comic book store or at comic book conventions you will eventually find one that is and you need to try to date that one because she is rare.

my ex of 13 years loved comic books, and it didn`t` really bother me that he loved him so much or our loft was full of them,After all,who knows they could be worth something in a few years. I even enjoyed going to forbidden planet myself, but not for the comics just the strange aray of stuff they had on display. Now my sons reads all his comics and its not ever a bad thing if a child reads. Every body would like some kind of hero in our lifes. Its not geekish at all. I much rather I caught my fella with a comic book in his hand than a porno. So no I don`t find men a turn off if they read comic books or geeky or boring. My ex is my ex now because he decided to have an affair not because he read comic books before you ask.

I like comic books too and sometimes I like watching cartoon on Sundays.Trying desperately to appear serious and mature by watching only movies or reading books strictly labelled as "for grown-ups only", that is pathetic, if you ask me. We all hide a child within us and is good to let it show now and then. Besides, "dark" comics like "X-men" and "Batman" address adults rather than children, in my opinion. Finally, if you ask me I always like people who have the courage to be themselves in spite of what narrow-minded people may say about them.

yeah it is a bit geeky i think tho it depends what comics you read.

i think manga is a good art form so i dont mind that. its the guys that make lists of all the female characters they would "do" that is so not right. and it'd put me off
like men who worship lara croft. and they have the poster on the wall i mean shes a bloody cartoon for godsake!
