OK my parents think it's childish to play computer games (thief3, splinter cell, COD2...etc) but i don't think so. There is somthing in these things that just keeps me going on. Somtimes I stand up for myself, but paps just dosn't want to hear it. I just don't know how to explain this to my parrents. Can you give me some good advice? Tnx

I really think that computer games are stimulating to the brain. You should be reading and doing other forms of stimulation just so you are not focussing on one thing.

It is never childish to play computer games. Computer games are good for playing whenever you want to pass the time, or if you stressed out from work or play.

The more time you spend playing computer games, the less time you'll spend being pressured into things like drugs and underaged drinking.

Some are good for hand-eye coordination and some for problem solving. But your parents might not complain if you spent less time playing them.

Mostly, they're good for the software companies. I played Flip Words to help sharpen my mental skills, if that helps.

Relaxation , but really bad for your eyes.if played for a long time. on a roll.

they are good for making your brain think faster, react quickly. however there are bad side as well. I won't mention it because it's not what you asked for.
