Pope Benedict XVI said he was "deeply sorry" about the angry reaction to his recent remarks about Islam, which he said came from a text that didn't reflect his personal opinion.

Have you seen the phrase? "didn't reflect his personal opinion"... Is the previous writer not a Christian... that means that he did not believe with what the writer wrote... then that means he is not a Christian but a Jew... He is deserved to be killed by Christians for now...

The person quoted by the so called infallible Pope was a Soldier not a Scholar in Islamic studies. A person of his status ought to have known his sources. Benedict has pained the noble souls of Pope Paul VI and the predecessor Pope John, who behaved sensibly and respectfully with Muslims, as evident from the document Vatican II. Benedict should now wind up Council for nonChristian relations, and stop publishing its 'Bulletin'. This year, he should not send the Pope's annual message to Muslims on the Month of Fasting and the festival of Eid..or.. exclude me from the mailing list... as the President of my country's Inter Religious Dialogue Association. Would any one please transmit this message to Mr Benedict ! and earn my gratitude.

Unlike some Muslims we Christians do not kill people of whatever faith for anything. No one 'deserves ' to be killed by Christians. What is it with certain people and talk of killing ?
You would be pretty quick to report anyone who said anything at all about your leader, Makes me wonder what is stopping anyone from reporting you. Enough thumbs up and I will .

Have you actually read what the Pope said?

Here is a link to the English translation of the Pope's controversial speech: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/benedict_xvi/speeches/2006/september/documents/hf_ben-xvi_spe_20060912_university-regensburg_en.html

He is not a Jew, and a true christian cannot kill him.
His punishment is in God's hands.

nope...not a jew, he's not included in Adam Sandler's song

I think of him as a catholic since he is the papal head of the vatican. And he wears a funny hat.
