The horror/drama ones do but some of the comedies have a non-denominational theme. Maybe the writers think people will take it more seriously if there's a catholic church/priest in there. Notice its always some nice old cathedral, not your usual scummy-looking 1970's catholic church.

Probably because the Catholics have been casting out demons ever since Jesus and the Apostles did it.

Modern psychology says that most of the people who had demons cast out of them were probably miraculously cured from schizophrenia and other mental illnesses. But their cures were still miracles.

The Catholic Church believes that real demonic possessions are rare but possible, so they keep a few exorcists around just in case.

With love in Christ.

Good versus evil, it takes two sides. And it seems the Catholic church is the ones at the front line against it.

I feel that when it comes to movies about church the ppl are not ture Chritians who listent o non-xecular music and truly know God. And i feel that they are really always Catholic churches. Im not saying i want them to be in Christian churches. No . But im saying that its inda weird. But i knowone thing is that when it comes to religion, Catholics are always the ones that are represented. I never swa a movie representing a Christian church.

It is usually because we Catholics have exorcists and exorcisms. It makes for a much more flavorful show.

because in hollywood, satanism or demonology is nothing but perverted catholicism. In their minds satanists are the opposite of catholics and not the Hell Fire Clubs of the late 1800's that it really was. Hell Fire Clubs were a gentleman's "group" of free thinkers.

Because the devil knows who to attack if he wants to destroy the Kingdom of God and the Reign of Christ. He goes straight away to the Church, which is the Body of Christ.
