It's okay for us to go to other countries and buy holiday homes and reap their economy. So if we can go and retire there why shouldn't other people come over here?

If someone goes abroad to boost their economy by providing jobs and much needed services, is different to those that just want an easy benefit life and make it harder for those that are genuinely entitled.
That is why minimum wage is a good thing. It helps a little to prevent exploitation and then the advantage of cheap labour etc is lost. If we didn't have laws such as breaks every four hours etc companies wouldn't bother. The world is too capitalist and getting worse.
Is not just that though. We need to create more industry jobs and not just the retail sectors over here. Not ship them all abroad. If you are out of work, no-one really cares I think. Some blame etc is put somewhere. However, people need jobs they can do and economy needs to be balanced so they can afford to live there etc. There is too much hiding going on and everything being justified.

No, what about all the white British who want to emigrate to Spain/Cyprus/Greece/Austrialia/Canada/USA/New Zealan/Portugal etc, to get away from the foreigners (ha, ha)! But continue living in an ex-pat/british society and not adapt to the locals or learn the language?

No, immigrants are doing the jobs in this country that British people won't do because they don't pay enough. It's a sad fact that it makes financial sense for some families to stay on benefits because minimum wage is so low and childcare costs are so high.
Besides I believe that a person has the right to live any where on the planet that they want to, as long as they're prepared to be useful members of which ever community they choose to join.
Instead of moaning, perhaps the British people who don't like immigrants should get out there in the rest of the world, there are plenty of countries with nicer climate, food, wild life etc than the UK. A more rounded view of the world might open their minds.

no the country would die on its ****. We rely on immigration to support our economy. the nazis in the BNP will probably try and persuade you otherwise but its really not a problem, more people leave the uk than join it each year.

All we need is good policing of our borders, and there is no need to stop immigration, because a lot of immigrants do the jobs that British people won't do!
