what are the treatments for reducing suffering sympthoms?is there any curement or we only can reduce sympthoms?

There is no cure for icthyosis. You can reduce symptoms with substances like petroleum jelly, glycerine, Urea cream, Lacticare lotion, Oilatum soap and lotion, etc. Some children with icthyosis also develop rickets, so watch out for that.

There is growing evidence that this disease, whilst 'inherent' in nature, may be the result of a weakened immune system. It is plausible that a family line may suffer compromised immune function, hence Ichthyosis being regarded as inherent.

If the above is true, then it becomes highly likely that it should be treated as eczema would be. No, I am not saying they are the same thing.

There is a website relating to conditions such as eczema and psoriasis, but in addition to any immune repair program I would strongly recommend an endocrine support program be included.
