Do you care about the planet you live in? Then I guess you would be concerned about it's health too, right? What are doing to help reduce/stop/slow Global Warming from destroying our beautiful planet? Do you know much about Global Warming at all?

I'm trying to get all 'Greenies' to realize that they are polluting the atmosphere with greenhouse gases when they exhale.

Just check out my last question if you don't believe me.

What are doing to reduce...? What are you asking? Have you been following what has been said since before 1980 or are you a latecomer to the debate? It is already too late. We have already gone past the return point, you have to accept that your leaders have let you down badly, if you are under 25 you will live to see sea levels rise by nearly 30 metres; the gulf stream stop flowing; wars that are fought over water; the ice melt, all over the world and your leaders will still be arguing about how to solve the problem.

I will not live to see these things, I am an old man. Enjoy your planet now, it is changing for the worse and despite the nonsense governments tell us we can do nothing unless we change our lifestyles completely. Change and move away from consumerism, and the greed of capitalism. I do not advocate a violent change to some other form of despotic government, but I am asking people to consider others more. We have damaged the planet beyond any hope of short term recovery. We have ensured that any,"Global", recovery is made impossible.

Normal fluctuations in atmospheric temperature are just that.. normal. Global warming is a pure fallacy. Follow the money in regard to this subject. This "beautiful planet" as you describe it, (and I, believe it or not, agree) is a "active" environment.
Earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, volcanic eruptions, landslides, etc occur with regularity. The "Ice Age" came and went, leaving us with breathtakingly beautiful landscapes.

"Global Warming" is a term conceived by people with a hidden agenda. Stop listening to these peoples scare tactics. It's all B.S.
Follow the money... you will discover the truth.
As humans, we can only track temperatures with any "accuracy"
for a mere 100+ years. Period.

Everything else is mere "speculation". Sure we have physical observations such as ice caps breaking off and melting, etc.
But we are in NO position to say these occurrences are "abnormal". We do not have the right to needlessly "scare" people with miss-information, and junk science.

Again, follow the money. If I want another multi-million dollar grant from the U.S. government to justify my existence, I'm sure not going to say "everythings great!".
I want my money!
Study the physical history of the Earth... It is a very violent, and constantly changing place.

Don't fall for the movies, "news", and bullshit.

I use my bike whenever possible, I have contracts for solar energy for electricity and "green" (0 footprint) heating gas, and try not to use more than I actually need. I don't buy too much BS just for fun, I try to recycle what can be recycled. I try to stay informed about the climate through meteorological and other scientific websites and other media like TV.

you cannot stop climate change because it is a natural phenomenon, climate change is as old as the planet, always has been there and always will be

why do you assume that the climate must now always stay the same despite the fact that it never has?

I raise my own food, won't own a car, and I do not support Bush or Republicans or the Baconian tradition. How's that for a biofootprint?
