My man has decided it's time I got a new car and he has offered to pay for it (yippee!) but I'm stuck as to what to go for. I don't want anything massive, I have a Clio at the moment which is just a bit too small. I need to have 5 doors as I have a small child to get in and out of the back and a big boot if possible. I'll get it on HP so am looking to pay under £200 monthly. Any ideas?? I'm 23 so don't want a granny wagon!

Hello,
How about a Skoda Octavia Combi? The smallest engine for these wheels start from 1.4 75HP, that's not a wheel burner. There's a plenty of room in it, a very friendly and economic car.
Not mentioning the competitve price...
I think it's not a granny wagon.
(I imagined you in the driver's seat and it was OK ;D)
Regards

BMW.
The biggest expense when buying a car is the depreciation.
You could loose 50% of its value in 2 years.
The German cars are slow at depreciating.
Also check Insurance groups for bigger cars as it might increase a lot from your Clio

Get a Golf, they come with 5 doors, are built strong - to protect your child should the worst happen, last well if maintained, you can get lots of styling parts for them so you can pimp-your-ride if you like. There's will be a buyer for it when you come to sell.
