Huh? Sounds funky. If you are allowed to be in contact (i.e. granted visitation) , then she is supposed to keep you informed of her whearabouts. If she disappeared on you, contact your lawyer and let him/her take it from there.

If not, then there's a good reason, so leave them alone.

Contact your ex's family. Spend the money you are not paying for child support to hire a private detective. Go to the websites that offer to find people, just using an old address you may hit on a new address. Go to whatever local agency your ex would go to if you were missing and she wanted child support, they would find YOU, ask them to find her so you can pay child support. Where I live that would be the local welfare office.
My husband lost his children through divorce in the 1980s, we have never seen them again. I sure wish we had hired a detective back then but we were broke and raising our own three children.Today they are 27 and 29 years old.
Good luck, do not give up. You have rights and so does your child.

If there's no reason for you to not be in the child's life, meaning, the reason she left wasn't because you are violent or abusive, then start by contacting your ex's family members and friends. Surely, you must know what kind of work she does and where she might have chosen to live. On-line phone directories may help you.

You obviously aren't that worried and know she is in safe hands with her mother. I think all you want is to see her, you are not saying that she has been kidnapped (as everyone else is jumping to conclusions). You should call up your ex's family or friends and somehow try and find her.

If you know any of her family or friends that you may contact to help find your EX........... or if you pay child support on you daughter, the child support office will tell you where there are unless your ex other wise told them not to, I wish you the best of luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
