Wow... your family is all over the place. Anyone there actually giving thought to this? Not meant as a put down. People often blindly follow. If you don't like it sometimes they rebel, either way the situation has controlled the though process, rather than thinking controlling the beliefs.
I am not of the same belief pattern as my family. Basically they are all atheists. We get along well and love each other, but for me there is too much evidence pointing to a maker.

No I don't. I'm an agnostic, my husband is a christian. My mother is a baptist, father a methodist, brother and his family are presbyterian. My many aunts, uncles and cousins are lutheran, roman catholic, latter day saints and wiccans.
Given the wide variety of belief systems my family holds we are very tolerant of other beliefs and never try to make others believe as we do.

No. My family is very mixed when it comes to religion, and most of them came to their current beliefs after I'd grown so I was not raised with religion as a child.
In my family, I have Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, Protestants, and agnostics. My brothers and I all became pagan independently from one another, with different beliefs.

it really is a sturdy question; yet a demanding one to respond to. and that i'm not likely to declare i recognize the answer, both. It in basic terms looks to me that those who've a thirst for an information of reality are lead by employing God into all reality...irregardless of the position they were born or how they were raised. The Bible says God's kingdom will be made up of ppl from each and every language, u . s . a ., and kindred effortless to guy. i will attempt to discover that verse for you.

Yes I do embrace the same Roman Catholic faith as the rest of my family members. It's important because we encourage each other through our religious teachings to overcome daily obstacles.

Nope my parents were devout atheists. After living with such a mind set it is easy to see the advantages of believing there is superior being or beings watching us who might care.

No, my parents never allowed me to go to church and explore my religious beliefs. While I have not found a church yet, I do believe in God and I will look for one when I get time.
