Because everytime I try to download a game for the pc from a torrent site it tells me I need to put in the disc is there any possibly that I can just play the game.

What you're downloading is an Image of the game's disk. Not an image like a picture, but it's called an Image.
To load an Image (usually ends in .iso) you need to get a program. Alcohol 120% and DaemonTools are great for mounting these images.
When you mount an image, you're playing a pretend CD into a pretend CD/DVD drive. Your computer thinks you did, but you didn't.
Please note that this is technically illegal unless you're doing this with your own created images. Downloading these kinds of things is 9/10 times illegal and I don't recommend telling anyone you've done this. I'll assume you made it all up.

i am not exactly sure what you are attempting to do. but as far as torrents go you should just need to get a torrent program with the abilites to open the torrent. I use X-Torrent. the only reason you would need a disk is if you want to distribute the game to another pc. and once they copy the torrent they would just need to get X-torrent or any other torrent program
