My only target is people who seem to me to be unable to say I do not know and leave it at that. I do not know that God did exactly this or that and proponents of evolution can not show that anything that happened here on earth could not have happened in a lab (perhaps destroyed by a cataclism or located somewhere else) under a controlled environment. No one knows if we are living in a often reused test tube of sorts or if we are alone in the galaxy spinning round, subject to forces under no ones control.
My problem is people who spend vast amounts of energy trying to persuade others that their pet theory is right. We do not know. If we can create life in a test tube then somebody b4 us could have.
evolution proponents seemingly blindly refuse to achknowledge that It is not scientific to teach theory as fact. It limits thinking to the new generation who might discover the truth if not blinded by notions taught by people who PERHAPS in error think they are superior to all.PERHAPS

If you're going to get technical, there is no such thing as scientific fact. We have theories and can devise experiments to test them, but it's impossible to prove anything beyond all doubt. We tend to accept things as fact when the evidence appears compelling and when no one has been able to prove them wrong.

Evolution has a lot of evidence behind it, but like everything else, it is just a theory.

I understand your frustration. People try to use evolution to prove that there is no God, which is silly. Likewise, it's annoying when people (scientific or religious) try to persuade others, especially when they don't know what they're talking about. The Bible says God created the earth. It doesn't say exactly what methods He used, yet people get wrapped up in interpreting it to mean that He did or didn't use evolution. Such discussions are pointless exercises, because if you have faith, you shouldn't care one way or another about evolution.

A wise teacher gave some good advice. "When you're in science class, study science. When you're in Sunday school, study the Bible. Work to understand both in their own domain and don't waste time trying to use one to disprove the other."

I would like to give an answer that I hope all hear and that unfortunately many will be upset by. We will never no more than what is written in the bible. But something that is clearly near the ending is that things will become far worse before they ever get better. Mans continuing pursuit of knowledge that is not needed or our never ending self righteousness that blinds us to peace full understanding will only get worse. It was never promised in the bible that things would be wonderful, it was stated that it would be a challenge that those who opened their hearts would have them torn by the way that they saw our brothers and sisters treated. I wish that I could say that we as a people could come up with our own solution through our searches for understanding and the next cure or fundraiser to help society come even a sand grains length of living one days peace. But with the way we divide, judge, bisect, and fear...... continue to pray, hope, and find some kindness in yourself towards others. We will never have the answer through science or religions. Only through God. Grace, mercy and peace to you all.

"If we can create life in a test tube then somebody b4 us could have." This statement is false. We (man) can not create life or anything else without using the things that God Created. A man putting an egg from a woman that God Ceated and putting sperm from a man Created by God and the sperm enter the egg in the manner that God Created and the egg is fertilized as God had Designed. Man plays a minor unnecessary role in God plan. It is by the Grace of God that we exist.

"create" was found 12 times in 10 verses in the New Testament.

Mark 13:19 - For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

1 Corinthians 11:9 - Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

Ephesians 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 3:9 - And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Ephesians 4:24 - And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Colossians 1:16 - For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Colossians 3:10 - And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

1 Timothy 4:3 - Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

Revelation 4:11 - Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Revelation 10:6 - And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

Science only deals with theories and evidence...all scientific knowledge is based on theories...Evolution is no different...but it is one of the most evidenced scientific theories we have. In no sense is Evolution just a theory... it is a highly compelling theory as is the theory of Gravity. The evidence for evolution exists and is totally real and factual and may be examined by anybody...in that sense it is absolutely fact.

The bibles tells us and that's Gods word. Some of us do know and don't be mad if you don't, just go read the book, its all there, God knew we were going to have these debates and he gave his children the answers. Written in the word, there is nothing new under the sun! Its been around thousands of years.

Sounds like sound scientific study to me. Neither creation or evolution can be proved. Why say one or the other is wrong.
