You can do a Fred Flintstone but that could be tough on your feet. Sorry, seriously, I don't know.

Hello,

Shift down gradually, when you reach second gear, turn off the ignition for a complete stop (don't clutch, when the engine doesn't run and thus there's no idling, you won't have power steering !). Watch out with the backshifts, shift down only when the actual gear has significally lost RPM, otherwise in the lower gear the RPM will be too high and the wheels will spin, making your car tail-happy (RWD) or uncontrollable (FWD).

But for God's sake, don't shift to neutral, even from 60 km/h (and not 60 mph) you will roll on for a couple of hundred meters and I'm sure you won't have that much time/distance !!!

When you must do it quickly and others' life is at stake, don't hesitate to line up your car to the tape barrier and carefully drive the car against it. Try to line up so that the enitre side line of your car connects with for a maximum friction, thus maximum braking effect.

Caution: when the angle is high (say more than 10 degrees) and the speed at which are contacting the barrier is not small either, you will bounce off the barrier and then you can be in even bigger trouble!!!

Regards

Take your foot off the accelerator if you have enough time and road to stop, if not, then put the transmission into neutral. that'll disengage the transmission and the car will coast to a stop. In an emergency and only in an emergency, use the emergency brake, and if that fails,You might want to just try putting the car in neutral and shut off the engine, if neither of those methods work, throw the car into park and put of the brakes as hard as you can and brace because it'll feel like the whole world stopped. that's a very dangerous maneuver but like I said it's a last resort. Your car could flip end over end or go out of control. My car did that when the spring broke on one of my old cars and the accelerator stuck to the floor, luckily it just stopped really hard and didn't flip.

On a manual, change down the gears keeping revs well above 2000 and when in first gear turn the ignition key one click anticlockwise to switch off the ignition without locking the steering, with the ignition on the car will run at about 5 mph in first just from tick over revs.
Actually stopping is hard, when down to 5 floor the clutch the engine will stop, and bring it back up gently that shoild finally stop you
Dont put it in neutral.
In an automatic run into the back of something and let their brakes slow you down.

ok your going to get all kinds of stupid *** answers to this but heres what I would do ! If its a stickshift downshift but do it slowly one gear at a time till youve slowed down enough . Ok now if absolutly have no breaks at all including handbreak . Your going to have to say to hell with the bodywork and save your life by sliding along the guardrail or anythinng that will cause friction . Just slide it along then start slowly turning the wheel into guardrail not all at once or you could flip it . Now if there is no guard rail and your alone you may have to ram somthing in an extreme emergency and I mean extreme because this will turn out the worst but it might save your life . Your going to have to guide car so that the right side of your car is sheared off but will save your life .Yes i think a light pole might work

Without using brakes, you can try changing lanes repeatedly to increase friction, but don't overdo it otherwise you might cause your car to spin unintentionally.

drive onto the grass, the friction will help slow the car down quicker, better yet hit sand if you can.

You can stop your car with a parachute if you equip the car with one
