not EVERYTHING.
A lot of good things and bad things and things you don't realise at the time or can't figure out.
But maybe the things inbetween somehow add up to something meaningful, if not for you then someone else. Like how everybodys life is affected by others.. just by their existance and the chain of events.
It's funny to think about.
In general I would say yes.

Every thing happens for a reason! And The Bible says that God can take the bad things and work them out for the good of those who love him!

Personally, I tend to believe that it does. Not that I can see any reason for much that has happened to me. But...........it's just an opinion that has turned into a belief. Maybe because of a need to believe in something?

Only if I can change your wording of the question to ones I'm more comfortable with. Say... "purpose" instead of "reason." Reason implies we can understand it. Purpose gives us no such certainty.

There is a reason for everything. The Torah has our life mapped out for us before we were born...but you must daven and be spiritually devote to Him, and leave your chances to your trust and devotion.
does this make sense?
