is it really better to have loved & lost than never loved at all?

Sometimes I think its easier to have never loved because you dont feel the pain of loss, anger, and regret. Some days it would be easier to not have memories that haunt you.
Other days, I yearn to have someone again and believe that there is someone out there for everyone.

That's a matter of perspective. Everyone views things differently, and everyone's experiences will be different. I'm sorry this isn't perhaps the answer you were looking for, but it is true. The only thing I can suggest is that you see if you can find people who think about love and heart breaks the same way you do and ask them what they think. An answer from someone who view these subjects completely differently than you is probably not going to help you much. Nor is it going to help you any if someone just says "its better not to have loved at all," and gives you no reasons why.
Good luck.

Thats a hard question, because the feeling of being in love is the best thing in the world, but at the same time loosing a lover is the worst.

I would say its better to have loved and lost, but I also think the pain of loosing is greater than the elation of loving. But to experience love, its a price you should risk paying.

yes, even if it is a bad memory it's an experience that makes you who you are. Love is something no one can explain to you, the feelings, the emotions, the hertache to be with that special someone all the time is a feeling that can not be put into words. Losing that person, no matter what they did is an experience in itself. Your mond playing gmes on you, you trying to forget him, trying to think soemone better will come to you, telling yourself its for the better and knowing your lying to yourslef is a part of the cycle of life. You will never get married if u dont love and lose before that, because not that many people get married and stay married with their fist boyfriend

oh yeah, all that worry and heart ache and sleepless nights and constant day dreaming etc etc etc about the other person is worth it all in the end.

besides when you find love and receive it you'll be walking on air, so no matter about any of that stuff i wrote at the beginning you'll be able to cope with that and much much more. hey you'll be able to do anything, and this is the greatest feeling in the world, coz it's all for your sweetheat.

if you've not loved yet, then don't fret it, coz it'll happen to you sooner or later, but in the meantime, relax and enjoy your life.

Hmmm, this is tricky. Being in love is a wonderful thing and makes you feel on top of the world, but it's a long drop down!I seriously can't answer this one with a yes or no.

Perhaps to some. But for me.... yes, too.
Know why? Because then you can proudly say "I have loved before".
If you are afraid to love because you are afraid of losing her one day, then you are not courageous enough to step into the world of love. It is not a bed of roses. It has more hurts, sufferings, sacrifices than you could imagine. Because love is selfish.

Yes i think it is lots better to see how love really is, to feel the closeness and to know that your life is entwined with anothers - even for a short time.

One day i hope to find it :0)
