Honey and Lemon water relieves it for me very well. If that does not work, you can try this home remedy. It may seem weird, but it sure worked for me too. Try boiling coke with ginger. Filter out the ginger and cool the coke before drinking. Don't take little sips, take big gulps to really have it hit the spot around your throat area. It worked very well for me. You may also try fisherman's friend.

Depending on what your symptoms are from though, you may want to see a doctor. Allergies, fevers, and colds may need more attention than some home remedy drinks and lozenges. But if it's a cold, Buckley's (tablet form) works wonders!.

Hi, here are some ways

When you drink tea to soothe your throat, try dissolving throat lozenges that contain menthol into your tea. Also, try dissolving honey into it for a less bitter taste.

At the first sign of sore throat warm 1/2 cup cold water in the microwave and add 10 drops of tea tree oil. Stir and gargle. Do not eat or drink for 20 minutes. Usually works wonders over night. Stops sore throat no matter the cause.

This is a remedy that I use and have shared with my friends, who now live use it constantly during the flu season. It may sound a bit gross, but it really works:

Get 1 medium-sized white onion and cut it in half. Put it in a pan and then fill the pan with water until the onion is submerged. Boil the onion in the water. Once the water begins to boil, stick a fork in the onion. If it is semi-soft, remove the pan from the heat and throw out the onion. Pour the water into a mug. Add honey and/or lemon for taste.

Honestly, it doesn't taste bad nor does it stink up a room. The honey and/or lemon will soothe your throat. The (onion) water will fight the bacteria that makes your throat sore. Enjoy!

(1) Gargle with pretty salty water or better, moist a Q tip and get some salt and touch the salt on the entrance of your throat; OR

(2) Gargle with 1 teaspoon of baking soda dissolved in half cup of water; OR

(3) Gargle with 2 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in 1 cup of water.

So much about gargling. You can boil a few slices of ginger in some a cup of water and sip the ginger tea when it's still hot. You can add a little honey to taste.

Hope you can get rid of your sore throat soon.
