Leave them be and let nature take it's course. They will do fine on their own.
Get a book. That way you have accurate information.

i have read some of the other replys to your question, athough i agree with some i disagree with others. i have been breeding for 6 years now and do know a little about the subject. the big question is when was the last egg laid. incubation starts there. it will take roughly 21 days from when the last egg was laid before the hatching begins. they will lay 1 egg every 2 days untill they have layed what they want normaly 4 -6 eggs. both parents will sit on the eggs. mum during the day and dad at night. once they have hatched both will feed. if you want the chicks to be hand tame make sure you handle them reg, but wait till they are a week old as the parents will sometimes abandon them if disturbed. if you had both females they would still lay. when it comes to birds and you have them in a pair one will always assume the role of the opposite sex. although you will not see them try to mate or anything they will stimulate each other. and you would have alot more eggs to boot. so it is safe to assume that you have a proper breeding pair. to see if the eggs are firtilised after about a week after they have been layed wrap your fingers around the egg and shine a torch behind it. if you see little red vains running through it they will have chicks providing the incubation time goes well. make sure they have plenty of cuttle fish as this adds axtra calcium that the female needs to produce the eggs and also add egg food to thier diet. also provide them with a bird bath regularily. as this will add the moisture that the eggs need so the hatching process is easier. when they hatch i would check on them reg to make sure that the parents are not pulling out the babies pin feathers ( what they are called when they are first growing in) if this happens you may have to finish rearing them yourself.
if the eggs are not viable just leave them there and they will soon get bored of them and abandon them. if you remove them it may encourage them to lay again and this can be very draining on the female. you could also try the national cockatiel society web site (they also do other birds) in the states as they have their own bulliton board and are always willing to help. hope this helps

Hen birds of the parrot variety can lay eggs that are unfertilized and that's what I think has happened here mate. They appear to be nest building, but without a nesting box it is pretty unlikely that the eggs have anything in them.
Its like the hen has a phantom pregnancy.
Keep the eggs for a week and then get rid of them. The hen bird may look for them but very quickly forget she ever laid them and will get on with being a love bird!
Cheers!

They have to have mated to lay the eggs, so that means that they are probably fertile. If they have something wrong with them the parents will eventually push them out of the nest, the same with a chick that wont survive.
If this happens, or its months and they still don't hatch, take the nest box away. After a couple of months you can put it back, empty. then supply them with the materials to make another nest inside.
then they will mate again, hopefully that time it will work.
We have Zebra Finches, we did exactly the same with them, second tome round they hatched five lovely baby's. Only two survived, but they live as one happy family.
Enjoy watching this wonderful part of nature closely, its so fulfilling.

I have the same thing. Got some a few weeks back who are sitting on eggs now. I did witness them breeding so I am hoping to get these to hatch, grow to 14 days and then I'm taking them to hand feed to tame them as my little pets. I will wait as long as it takes these 2 birds to learn how to be parents, then again they may be good parents just have to wait on the eggs to hatch out first. Dont worry they will take care of themselves, meaning each other and the babies during this time. Just sit back and watch and wait and good luck to ya!

Try taking one of the eggs out, get a small torch and shine it through the egg. If there is a dark Shadow in the egg then it more than likely your other bird is a male, and that he has fertilised the egg. Replace the egg as quickly as possible afterwards.

It looks good, if the hen is sat on the clutch then there is a good chance of the eggs hatching, especially if the **** bird is feeding her, it should take anything up to 20 days for the young to emerge, you need do nothing except provide food and water and as little disturbance as possible. good luck !!

We raised a family of finches, even after the momma finch escaped and our cat caught her. Daddy finch raised them, there were 4-6. Only disadvantage was that he could only teach them his song. None of them learned the female call, a sweet warble. The male had a 2 note ssstweet- sssstweet. They all sound like squeakly rocking chairs! Call the petstore where they sell those kinds of birds. They should tell you exactly what to expect.
