Having only one misdemeanors on my record prohibited me from even becoming a Peace Officer at a Secure Facility. Meaning a Jail. I hope that I don't dash your hopes. Try anyway. What's the worst that they can do....take away your birthday?

Depending on what kinda misdemeanors, and what kinda police officer you want to be. You probaly cant be a CIA agent, but you may be able to be a city cop.

It depends on what the misdemeanours are and how much time has passed. It also depends on which law enforcement agency you apply to.

You best bet is to go talk to the police recruiter in your area and find out what their rules are.

If you are trying to join the police in the USA, you will feel right at home. How could they turn down one of their own kind.
