I do not have to be loud or hateful. The facts speak for themselves. The following are 100% correct facts and figures typed out by our government. The real question is...how can our government (knowing what they know) let this go on:

(1st Qtr) INS/FBI Statistical Report on Undocumented Immigration.

Work Paid Under the Table - No Taxes
> 62% of all "undocumented immigrants" (illegal aliens) in the United States are working for cash and not paying taxes;
> Those working illegal aliens who are paying taxes are doing so by use of stolen social security numbers, a felony.

Crime
> 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens;
> 83% of warrants for murder in Phoenix are for illegal aliens;
> 86% of warrants for murder in Albuquerque are for illegal aliens;
> 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Albuquerque are illegal aliens;
> 24.9% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally;
> 40.1% of all inmates in Arizona detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally;
> 48.2% of all inmates in New Mexico detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally;
> 29% (630,000) convicted illegal alien felons fill our state and federal prisons at a cost of $1.6 billion annually;
> More than 53% of all investigated burglaries reported in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens;
> More than half of all gang members in Los Angeles are illegal aliens from south of the border;

Car Thefts/ Traffic Violations
> More than 71% of all apprehended cars stolen in 2005 in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California were stolen by illegal aliens or transport coyotes";
> 47% of cited/stopped drivers in California have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 47%, 92% are illegal aliens;
> 63% of cited/stopped drivers in Arizona have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 63%, 97% are illegal aliens;
> 66% of cited/stopped drivers in New Mexico have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 66%, 98% are illegal aliens;

The Cost of Health Benefits
> More than 380,000 "anchor babies" were born in the United States in 2005 were to parents who are illegal aliens; making those 380,000 babies automatically U.S. citizens. 97.2% of all costs concurred from those births were paid by the American taxpayer;
> More than 66% of all births in California are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers;

The Cost of Welfare
> More than 43% of all Food Stamps issued are to illegal aliens;
> More than 41% of all unemployment checks issued in the United States are to illegal aliens;
> 58% of all Welfare payments in the United States are issued to illegal aliens;
> Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties in the United States are illegal aliens;

More than 42% of California students in grades 1-12 are non-English-speaking. In Los Angeles County, 5.1 million people speak English. 3.9 million speak Spanish;

Costs to American Tax Payers
> The cost of immigration to the American taxpayer in 1997 was a NET (after subtracting taxes immigrants pay) $70 BILLION a year, [Professor Donald Huddle, Rice University];
> The lifetime fiscal impact (taxes paid minus services used) for the average adult Mexican ILLEGAL alien is $55,000.00 cost to the American taxpayer in a 5-year

I'm from Texas. Illegals are everywhere here. Quite openly. There are many places in our city that the illegals have called "the chicken" where they all congregate early in the morning waiting for a job for the day. There is always one who speaks english and negotiates the pay for the others. Never less than $50.00 for whatever job they may take irregardless of the time it may involve. If it requires a skill such as construction it can go to $150.00 a day. This MUST be paid in cash. Many construction and lawn maintenance company's pull up in their trucks and take as many as they need. In many of our restaurants here the kitchens are mostly mexican illegals. Some from El Salvador. You never mix the nationalities in the kitchen because they won't get along, I'm told. These illegals are paid with cash cards which have been agreed upon prior to hiring in. They speak enough english to understand and be understood by management. If an illegal gets sick or needs hospitalization where do they go? They go to UTMB hospital (great hospital by the way) where they are charged by what they make. If they make nothing they pay nothing. UTMB in turn received federal money for helping the indigent. See where that comes from? Our school district has instituted a program (very QT by the way) where parents of illegal immigrants are picked up by school buses and transported to a school in the evening where they can learn english. They come to each home pick them up and then drop them off when class is over several times a week. There is wear and tear on the vehicle, cost of gas, and the hourly pay for the driver. Who do you think pays for that? Now...do any of you have teenagers that have looked for employment? Don't you think they'd love to jump into one of these jobs that 'only the illegals will do' without paying any taxes? I think so. This bunk about illegals doing jobs noone else wants is a farce. Come to our country. No problem. But...do it the right way and file your papers with the proper authorities for entry and work permits. You employers that hire these people ought to be arrested just like the illegals. Whole towns in Mexico wouldn't exist were it not for the dollars earned by illegals and believe me they send their money straight to Mexico every single week so the rest of their family can eventually come as well. Wake up and smell the huevos y cafe, America.

I think at this point if you're going to talk about taxes, the country's 'paid' for this border fence many many times over,
but we've yet to see it completed. I don't think it's an invasion, I think it's gross negligence, maybe even deliberate negligence.
So then u start asking other questions about fraud and corruption, and and and. Money is power, power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely...and I'll bet there's at least one jackass somewhere that's got a map drawn of the 'new' United States...suffice it to say it's profit-oriented social engineering to have an open border with Mexico and let 'hard working' illegal aliens AKA strike-breakers of years past waltz right on in, unchallenged. November should prove interesting...

HERE IS A INCOMPLETE LIST OF BUSINESSES HIRING ILLEGAL ALIENS:
1) TYSON FOODS is closing facilities due to the boycottes. They drive their trucks to the border to pick up illegal alien workers, so you see boycottes do work!!
2) HOME DEPOT, Huge offender, has built illegal alien hospitality centers on their store property so contractors will patronize their store and hire illegal aliens for cheap wages.
3) INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PANCAKES
4) JUNIOR'S and CARL'S JR. RESTAURANTS hire illegal aliens.
5) CITGO GAS STATIONS, owned by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez who hates the United States. So much so, in fact, that he has pledged to use his substantial profits from Venezuelan owned Citgo to fund rogue governments, and terror groups that wish to do us harm. Hugo Chavez is a serious threat to our troops and our nation, and to make matters worse, we are lining his pockets with money he is using to destroy us

By patronizing these company's you are helping illegals to come to this country.Because of the promise of jobs,at wages the average American cant live on. Because Americans don't live 20 people in a one bedroom apartment or small house.Americans don't live crowded together like sardines.We are accustomed to a higher standard of living even for our poor.
I have no racist agenda,I do not hate any one because of their country of origin,or color.What I dislike is the blatant illegality of the people entering this country without the law required legal documentation,then demonstrating in our city's and demanding rights.You don't have any rights you are a criminal that has broken the laws of this country and disrespected our flag by dragging it on the ground and raising your flag above this country's on a federal building.That will not be taken lightly by Americans that love this country.You dont wish to join the USA you wish to take over this country and turn it into a bigger Mexico,but still with all of Mexicos problems.We have enough of our own problems we dont need Mexicos.I speak of Mexico because I am from Az and thats who our illegals are ....In Arizona its Hispanics.
No amnesty
Deportation not legalization of illegal immigrants

To the poster above me:
My ancesters came here in 1702 so your family was late And I want to share this country, but you must be legal to share in the "so called" American dream.(That is looking a lot more like a nightmare because of our so called leadership.) But as always this country will survive even Bush

lover girl.....You have needed papers since 1924 when the first law against mass immirgents was in effect.You need to look at this countrys history.And NO not everyone belongs in this country.

Thank you for "allowing" me to voice my opinion. America is a nation of laws, If you cannot, or will not live by those laws, Leave. Go somewhere that will allow you to act in the manner your accustomed to. Thats freedom. Do not come to MY country and spew hatred for the greatest nation on earth & the people who are paying for your "benefits", AMERICANS. I never invited any person to come here and take for free what I have worked a lifetime for, so why should I be required to pay for them?
My children and grandchildren deserve better than this.
AMERICA, LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT!

There has to be order or we hurt others. Hurt to help (in non emergency cases) is not right. And many are being hurt by a mass coming in an a illegal and not orderly way.

definitely! they do us so much more harm than good. as you mentioned, they do not pay income taxes. and not to mention they send that untaxed money back to family and friends. this is ruining the economy even further because they are only taking money away and not recirculating it through America as much as legal citizens would.
they should not be here. why give them amnesty? do you really want these refugees who know nothing about our polotics to become citizens, and thus voters in this great nation? i certainly don't.
they should have voted to make that 700 mile long fence a LONG, LONG time ago! it's about time congress does something about the flow of illegals everyday. but now it's time to take care of the illegals inside our country.
even if you support Bush, i really hope you don't support his work-to-get-into-America type of program that he is thinking about.
we need to get rid of them all as soon as possible. it's best for our economy and our nation.
before all you who disagree start to believe that i am racist, i want you to know that i HATE all racists. as a matter of fact, i LOVE latinos. i have a mexican friend actually, and even he wants the illegals kicked out.
and i am saying this because i am simply looking our for the interests of our own country.

I'm adamantly against illegal immigration, because it ruins our children's schools and ruins health care for our elderly.

However, I'm not tempted to try to win the 10 points.

look, I want to retire well.
Its really easy for us to say we dont want drugs in our country, its easy for a few of us to speak up and show we stand for something. But what is not easy, is the consistency to do the right thing day in and out. Are you familiar with the saying the $#!7 always floats to the top?
Well, not like its any better anywhere else in the world, but here in the US I also postulate that people always want more power and those who have power will eventually turn to nefarious and 'negotiable' ethics with plenty of justification to stay on thier fat asses.
Thus is the case when we fail to stop the drug flow why? Because demand is so high thats why. So as a nation we are torn ethically by individual morality and choices while hypocritically recognizing what is the right thing to do for ourselves and our children. 'just say no'
Im not saying thats what we are individually, im not pointing a finger at you reading this especially, but somewhere and how the consumption is just enormous enough to keep it this way.
Thus is the case with illegal migrants in a time where demand for physical security is at a premium. Throughout the fat a$$ clinton administration and the pot smokers dream of a president he set in motion ways to sell us out and didnt do anything about terrorists declaring war on the US. Even in the face of hostility we did little but facilitate rampant success for the self declared enemies of our state.
I was in korea near the DMZ in 99 when i remember reading about bin Laden declaring war on us. How many actions had he taken against us already? What did we do but pick up a few broken bodies and shoot a few cruise missles? They were convinced we are without resolve, which can be a fairly accurate assessment under such leadership which resolved to 'open up' America further.
nafta?
after this debacle i realized we are doomed by our own fortune.
there is a level of comfort here a laziness like an addiction. But meanwhile the bickering and fussing over higher level security and red tape and protocol, base closures etc. the destructuring of a national defense grid well underway. Why bother if there is so much military there? Wouldnt the US be more valuable to the highest bidder without all those rednecks in combat equipment trained for just a few things?
Of course the course of history forward should be determined more by the needs of the little guy. I think this is what Clinton was trying to get at, setting the stage for a chance at future success within our economy.
But in doing so, did so boldly by ignoring the threats of terrorists, so its not utterly dishonorable in and of itself. Certainly takes balls and guts to recognize the need and address change.
As far as the border goes I respect the individual who comes from where he comes from and does what he has to do to survive. I was considering entering the border patrol academy upon leaving active duty military service. I considered it long enough to recognize it could only be a labor of love and therefore I found myself in wanting for the capacity to tell a good person they are wrong for trying and turn them around.
We all know there are bad apples in every bunch. This should not work out the way it has for the mexicans and other south americans, it is a simple adjustment to diplomacy that can render and rope in the hardened criminals soon and well enough and there were strides and improvements with V Fox in office in Mexico.
But now we have imminently threatened attacks here now again.
We need our physical security as a priority.
So its a simple two step process.
1)CLOSE the border physically.
Enforce the laws that already exist (thats not really a step) and quit legislating new BS such as drivers licenses for illegals and other such hogwash.
2)Simply EXPAND operations for immigration based on common requirements. No amnesty packages.

Its so simple its rediculous. I dont even want to go into the evident reasons why we should. But i feel detached from the 'we' of the 'US' when my own personal standards and ethics are so far fetched and forward from the obvious reality that we simply and apparently dont deserve this protection for lack of action before and from the stonewalling in common sense legislation. That we allow this crap to happen of our own accord for the rich that are getting richer, the middle class that is slipping away and the poor wretches we all shall be soon enough squabbling in the streets over scraps under the gaze of a few overly wealthy and influential individual enterprisers alot like Mexico itself now.
It takes patriots, faith and in the words of a sergeant major i once met 'takes a generation of sacrifice to place a democracy'.
Upon viewing my contemporaries in the halls of highschool growing up and the sneering contempt for america that i have found rampant in my life, I can hardly say this is a place I want to be 20 years from now. There is much less actual spirit out there than one might believe.
Sure i say shut it down.
Its something, but a table scrap to shut us 'mericans' and would be 'mericans' up from the feast of the fat and powerful.
Mexicans are quite honorable and admirable in just about every regard. But Id say the same for any race. Thats my 'gen-x' upbringing.
If we expand operations in security and immigration we can give someone the welcome home they have long been betrayed. no wonder they send the money 'home'. Its a crying shame. Im not waiting around here in this country much longer myself, its a big beautiful world. Plenty of affordable beachfront elsewhere in the world thats not so polluted. Good luck or good riddance. Im in for doing the right thing, dissassociating ASAP for anything to the contrary.
