YES! And nail polish too. They should talk to you about all of that when they are getting you prepared for the surgery.

Most hospitals' policies require that patients remove all jewelry prior to surgery in the interest of the patients' safety. Depending on the location, jewelry may interfere with procedures. For example, oral and nasal jewelry can interfere with breathing apparatuses. Certain types of emergency equiptment such as the heart defibrillator can cause electrical burns if the patient is wearing or touching metal.

Yes you would,any object in the mouth,earrings,false teeth would have to be moved,this is because nothing what so ever is not allowed to be in the mouth when put asleep incase you swallow them while you are under.Also earrings in ears,nail varnish,jewerrly etc all has to be reomoved all to do with health and safety.

I don't think you have to remove your tongue piercing but unless if they say so, then I think you have to remove it but I don't think they will ask you to remove it anyways!!

yes they will ask u to remove it!!when your under general anaesthetic its possible it could come loose and u can choke on it!and because your relaxed and asleep u wont be able to cough it up!dont wear make,jewlery,nail polish.

yes they always ask you to remove everything from anywhere when having surgery, they should have given you a notice about it.

yes you will, when you get put to sleep they will have to help you to breath will a tube that goes down into your windpipe! good luck i hope they look nice x

well you shouldnt be having plastic sugery anywaybut i dont know probly better 2 you should be satisfied with your body the way it is
