Lets put one thing straight first.
PURE Science and PURE Religion do not contradict each other
Evolution is a Scientific THEORY it is NOT Pure Science.
God has Created Rules and follows them.
God is Logical he does not contradict himself.
There is only ONE True Religion.
Evolution is a theory that all living creatures evolved from some a common evolutionary ancestor.
Evolution also states that this creature evolved from rocks and rain. the reverse steps are
animals and plants - single celled organism - prehistoric cell and mitocondria and chloroplasts - ooze that contains building blocks of life - rocks and acid rain - lava and gases from volcanoes.
that is what unpure-science claims you evolved from
Evolutionary Theory also is missing too many pieces to make a detailed map or picture. like making a puzzle with only 0.1% to 1% of the pieces. doesn't work period.
and since religion gives the only other alternative i'll have to go with the belief that we ARE created by God.
after all how does a quatinary biological programing language (DNA) that works actually come into existance by accident.
there is too much order in the universe for it to have just happened.

wow, that was a very well organized and well presented piece of bullshit, here is a scientific theory that helps evolutions case, natural selection. If a species of animals was set in a constantly changing environment the ones that could adapt the quickest would survive and reproduce making more animals that can adapt quickly and possibly even improve upon the genetic attribute that enables them to adapt quickly, in animal that could not adapt quickly would die or be hindered to the point of being unable to reproduce. The adaptations made by these creatures may alter the mental or physical stucture of such animals, these adaptations are what we call evolution.
However, this model of creation does not exclude the god factor, however much you may disagree, but the fact still remains man could not have come into existance without some help from outside forces, no matter how you twist or augment god still made everything, the only thing is that we don't know how god did it.
oh, and humans have a way of putting faith in things to which they know nothing of. Why put faith in creationism? Were you there when god made humans? Was genesis written by the first human or by somebody who guessed what god did later on? The scientists who don't believe in god are the stupid ones (i don't care how respected they are), cause they have to take into account that there is still something instead of nothing and how that happened they may never know.

When you say, "In the absence of an evolutionary explanation, divine special creation remains as the only scientifically viable explanation for the origin of life and of all biological designs," you exhibit extremely flawed logic. Even if evolution didn't exist (and it most certainly does), that doesn't automatically make divine creation the only viable explanation or even a viable explanation at all. That's weak.
Evolution exists. Just look around you. Notice how insects slowly become immune to different pesticides (because they are evolving). Or the flu virus. If the flu virus wasn't mutating (evolving), then the same flu vaccine could be prepared and used year after year. That's evolution.

We don't deny that animals adapt, however, the offspring of a fish is always a fish, the offspring of a cat is always a cat, the offspring of an ape is always an ape. A non-human has never given birth to a human, and an animal was never born as a non-human and then transformed into a human during its life. Everything in this world is either human or non-human. There is nothing that is half-human, 75% human, 99% human, etc. Everything is either human or not. You forgot to mention all of the evidence that is against evolution! Perhaps you have never considered it. Why do evolutionists ignore this evidence? When ALL of the evidence is fairly, honestly, and reasonably evaluated, I believe the conclusion has to be that there is a God and everything was created by Him! For example: Atheists promote their theory of evolution, and they say that the dinosaurs were extinct about 45 million years before the first man. They, however, never mention the petroglyphs that show images of known, recognizable dinosaurs in Natural Bridges National Park (Utah, USA); Montrose County, Colorado; and the Grand Canyon. They never explain the ancient dinosaur figurines found in Mexico, the dinosaurs painted on burial stones found in Peru, or the dinosaur sculpture on an ancient Cambodian temple. They never answer these questions: 1. If these are not dinosaurs, what are they and why do they look so much like known, recognizable dinosaurs? 2. If they are dinosaurs, how did those men know what they looked like? (All of these examples are art that pre-dates when these dinosaurs were “discovered” from fossils.) Also, a T-rex fossil has been found that still had soft tissue that was "still flexible and elastic". When stretched this tissue returned to its original shape. This type of dinosaur is said to have been extinct for almost 70 Million years. How did such soft tissue survive that long? What logical, reasonable explanation do you have? **** edit **** I always get "thumbs down" when I speak of this evidence on Y!A. This time is no exception, but I have never had someone actually offer an explanation. Again, all of the art I mentioned above was known to have existed before these dinosaurs were "discovered". Also, how do you know the AIDS virus did not exist before? Perhaps no person had ever been exposed before. Some think it may have been contracted from men having sexual relations with animals. Perhaps it, or a form of it, has existed in animals for thousands of years, but that animal's system could deal with it and when it got introduced into humans it began to spread unchecked because it was in an environment where the natural defenses were not present. If this virus did not exist before, what did it evolve from? What is it evolving to? I submit that it was a virus before and it is a virus now. No macro-evolution has taken place. Your AIDs argument offers no real, tangible evidence.

here's the thing. In our culture people do not want to qualify what they say as a theory or say this is what I believe instead it must be I am right you are wrong. This is often motivated by hidden agendas of which the evolution vs. intelligent design is the chiefest example. Each side has their baggage. What I really do not like is when educational matter is presented as fact when it is a form of religion. The discovery channel routinely states evolution theorys as fact. What crap is that. If a group is fronting as education and can not state that what is a theory is a theory then people should call them on it. Otherwise it gets labeled by those with opposite theorest people as say "liberal BS" it may be BS but I do not like being grouped in with this bunch but I believe in some liberal goals as I am sure Jesus would. On the other hand I am christian and I do not like being grouped with those who refuse to hold their leaders accountable when they do the kind of unchristian things like Bush and many other republicans do. This idea of not just being able to say this is what I THINK instead of this is the ultimate truth is having a really polarizing negative effect on us all.

Evolution has more objective evidence supporting it then creationism does. However I will concede that it is still a theory.
Fossil creation is dependent upon many factors, the vast majority of life does not "become" a fossil. Furthermore there is nothing that states all fossils have been found.
Not believing in evolution is like not believing in gravity.

Better to put faith in a theory that provides some credible evidence that in some imaginary magician for which there is no credible evidence.
Even if evolution was found to be totally incorrect, that would do nothing to advance the "God did it" theory.
Why do thumpers waste so much time attacking evolution rather than providing us with the evidence supporting their "God did it" theory?

"Divine special creation" isn't the "only" scientifically viable explanation... in fact, it isn't a scientifically viable explanation at all. You can't take an untestable, unprovable, faith-based concept and call it a scientific theory. It has to hold up to the Scientific Method, and creation science, intelligent design, divine special creation, whatever you want to call it, does not. It's as simple as that.

Hahaha. You sound like you have been reading a Christian book on evolution. Same old story, there "are not intermediate species," "Everything is too complex," boohoo. If you want answers to any of this, please feel free to contact me. I'll show you all the evidence there is.

educate yourself there are all kinds of proof of evolution not that i believe that man evolved ! but i just heard of some bird on the galopogos island is getting a longer beak so it can adapt to it's food sources which is also changing.which as you know go's down to the micro organism.
