Whenever I listen to my music loudly, I don't hear any popping noises, but when I turn it down it pops all the time. It's so annoying. What's causing this and can I fix it myself?? If no, how much will it cost me to get it done?

sounds like you have a rip in your speaker....just replace it. Depends on the what kind of car it is, and if the speaker is in the door, dash or in the back someplace on how much it will cost..You can definitely do it yourself

If you have an Analog type volume control, it needs to be cleaned or replaced . If you have a digital volume control, one of the capacitors in the output stage or cross-over needs to be replaced. Also, slight chance the ground circuit is intermittent or undersized for your system. Use some battery cables to temporally ground components to eliminate potential ground problems first.

Sounds like you need new speakers. Speakers do get "old" over time, the diaphram moving back and forth, can wear. That or they are underrated and cannot handle the load. Get new ones :)
