Tell him what you told us here and get an answer STRAIGHT from his mouth. I don't think it's right for him to hurt you like this, but I guess he's not very serious about your relationship--at least not as serious as you. Honey, I'm very sorry to hear this. You love this guy, but he can't love you back. Maybe you should consider moving on instead of staying. He may want to date your best friend, and the list can go on NO matter how much you love him. Take care and don't let this jerk break your precious heart again and again by staying in this awful relationship with him. Best wishes.

First of all, END IT!!!!! Secondly, why would John want to start dating "your best friend" Christiana? (Is she that good of a friend?) Apparently they have already been talking about this without your knowledge for him to even bring that subject up to you. Like one of the previous answers had said, unless you are in an open relationship....but those relationships are talked about at the beginning of a relationship (not knowing how long you two have been together.)

Hi Kelse, Sounds like this guy is a player, and doesn't care who he hurts. It's time to tell him to go to HELL, and get a life.Thats straight to the point, and a clean break.Sorry about this jerk, there lots of nicer guys out there. So don't worry, you will find someone who will treat you the way you deserve to be treated.A Friend

End it.
If he actually asked you if he could date your friend, he is a horrible boyfriend. It is better to have no boyfriend at all than to have one you does not appreciate you or want to be in a relationship with you.
You sound young - if you do not learn now that you deserve to be treated well and with respect, you will let men treat you like dirt for your entire life. And that sucks.

Damn, Kelse..as a man I can say that its beyond obvious that he doesn't givea shyt what you do. It's obvious that he's not into you...you should end it. But that decision is yours..in the end your gonna make your own move anyway!

If he doesn't want a relationship with you, then you have to let him go.
I think it is nice that he asked whether you'd mind him dating your friend. You could say yes but chances are, he will end up doing it anyway.

This is bizarre... unless you guys have some sort of open relationship. It's obviously over for him so end it and cut your losses.
