All dogs shed. Some dogs just happen to shed more than others.

In the case of a schnoodle (schnauzer x poodle), both breeds in the mix have fur that catches and traps shed fur---so they still shed, you just don't generally see it.

Also, there's no such thing as a hypoallergenic animal. Allergic reactions to animals are not caused by their fur, they're caused by dander, the oil of the skin, or in some cases, the saliva.

Any Poodle cross will have a 50/50 chance of having the Poodle coat. The worst shedder I have ever seen was a labradoodle (sold as no shedding). If you want a 'no shedding' dog, get a Poodle.

All dogs shed to an extent, but no, they shouldn't shed too much.

Schnoodles do not shed. You do need to take them to the groomer every couple of months.

Schnoodles, along with laberdoodles are known as "Hyperallergic" dogs.

Good luck!
