I don't really understand. I've been reading a lot of questions tonight about Muslims and some of them very hateful, don't think that is what i'm doing just because my wording is harsh.. but seriously..

If they love death and are promised paradise after life on earth then why is it such a big deal for them to be killed? Nobody likes death and suffering but if I truely thought that something better awaited me, and I was CERTAIN of paradise I wouldn't be wasting my time here on Earth.
And if it was sinful to commit suicide and voluntarily leave Earth early I wouldn't mind if someone bombed my town and took me out.

I don't don't really get it.

" Why the hell do you ask this of just Muslims! WHY! why not ask it of Christians etc, why are we always being ganged up upon by all the ignorants and racists here. "

Oh **** off. If you stop being so defensive and read the actual question it might give you a clue.
First I said because I have been reading about Muslims all day. Second because I am talking about actual PARADISE not heaven or anything.
The paradise thing is very interesting to me.
Third, that does not make me or anyone else here racist.

My point is basically why do people still fear death if there is apparently nothing to fear and actually.. a lot to gain. That's all. Nobody can explain it to me apart from the person who said instinct. But even so. You shouldn't (and wouldn't) fear death if you (thought you) knew the meaning of life and what happens after death. And religious people are not supposed to have any doubt so that's no excuse.

I'm not really saying it's a great idea to die, I was joking to make my point.

sorry I just noticed some more answers since I was typing that last part. So to fulfill a duty on earth. Fair enough. Would anyone like to add some things as an example of living good and living on earth for god?

All Muslims aren't promised paridise, because some are hypocritical. God tells us in the Quran not to kill ourselves or we will be rewarded with Hell. We are not to try to kill ourselves or be killed on purpose because that would be a bad deed added and people, Muslim or non-Muslim, need good deeds to get into Paridise. The Prophet told us to live as if we were going to die tommorow and live forever. May God be pleased with him. The Sucide bombers do it because they are so depressed with the occupation by the West and Isreal and they become sucidal and mad. Wanting to die is like giving up, and we are not to give up, but have faith and be steadfast. Giving up is a sign of lack of faith in Muslim belief. The Middle East Muslims are tired of being oppressed and lied on by the West.

Why the hell do you ask this of just Muslims! WHY! why not ask it of Christians etc, why are we always being ganged up upon by all the ignorants and racists here. Muslims love LIFE, as it our gift from God and our trial. we have to treat it carefully as God has only given us one, it is not the point of any religion to make someone concentrate on death but life. Paradise is a reward and a comfort that you will see loved ones lost, in whatever form you believe. There is another, different life after the death of our body in this world but not if you don't make the most of this one and fulfill your first half of your whole journey God has for you. For me the body is just capsule for the soul which lives on. The promise of paradise is the reward for practising love and good in this world. But again why at the Muslims?????????

Nobody knows whether they really will get paradise. The same goes here for us Christians. Remember the parables of the quiet and the loud man. Whose prayer will be likely answered?

It's not like you won a 'Get Into Paradise Free' when you died from such deaths. We will never know the machinations of God, theirs or ours. He knows all. He decides which is which.

By dying and blowing up other people along, that's not dying for God. Life is better spent living. Not everyone is keen on blowing themselves up. Those minds that think as such are very, very dense.

There is no shortcut to paradise.

The theory is that you have to earn god's favor while alive in order to score the goodies after death. Suicide bombers apparently suppose that killing some innocent people, and obliterating yourself in the process, will earn such favor. If I were god, it would not earn mine.

a muslim isnt a muslim just by name. a muslim by heart is one who fulfills the needs of others and who remembers God in every little lawful and righteous thing he/she does.

Al-Baqara | 286 verses | The Calf سورة البقرة
Sura #2 | Madina
177 It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces to the East and the West; but righteous is he who believeth in Allah and the Last Day and the angels and the Scripture and the prophets; and giveth wealth, for love of Him, to kinsfolk and to orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and to those who ask, and to set slaves free; and observeth proper worship and payeth the poor-due. And those who keep their treaty when they make one, and the patient in tribulation and adversity and time of stress. Such are they who are sincere. Such are the Allah-fearing.

186 And when My servants question thee concerning Me, then surely I am nigh. I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he crieth unto Me. So let them hear My call and let them trust in Me, in order that they may be led aright.

195 Spend your wealth for the cause of Allah, and be not cast by your own hands to ruin; and do good. Lo! Allah loveth the beneficent.

Paradise is promised to Muslims if they die in holy war (jihad) so they wait their chance to fight Jihad, and die killing a lot of non Muslims.
