Sometimes I have dreams of places that I've never been to in this life, and then I'll see a picture of what I dreamed and it freaks me out because how and why do I know about these places?

When I was young, I had a recurring dream about moving about inside a house, the same house in all the dreams. It was not a house I recognized ever having been inside at any time in my life. When I was 55 years old, I made a trip with my sister to my father's house (when he was a young boy). I recognized this as the house that was in my dreams. I had never been to this house before. Is that evidence of a past life, or of having some memory which was transmitted to me from my father through genes or DNA? Very strange! Maybe some of your dream images are images of real events which happened to your ancestors, transmitted by some genetic code? The universe is not only stranger than you think, but stranger than you can think.

About 20 years ago, I was "regressed" by a former professor from UC Berkeley.
During that experience, I recalled several "past lives" that included Roman or Greek foot soldier, German Air Force pilot during or around the time of WWI, and a native American warrior, time period unknown but during the experience was preparing to burn a church... (hmm...)
I'm still a skeptic and the recollections were more dream-like (I was awake) than clear, distinct impressions.
It was interesting but I'm not convinced that the "memories" had any relation to an actual former life.
Judge for yourself....

As a small new child you have considered some thing corresponding to this on television as a movie or detective instruct, and so on. that could be a prior life dream, yet i think a nil.5-remembered reminiscence considered as a new child is plenty greater probable. The concepts can't tell the variation between actual and imagined strikes as a small new child.

I've had memories of being a downstairs maid in 18th century England, a Bedouin in Morocco several centuries ago, an office girl during the 1920s, tortured by Indians in the 18th century, and being a settler in the Old West (one of the clearest). Make of it what you want.

I don't have any recollection of a past life, but it'd be interesting to talk to someone who does.
