An 11 week old pup will dehydrate oh so quickly when it has diarrhea...Your puppy needs to see the vet as quickly as is possible..
there are as many reasons for diarrhea in puppies, as there are for diarrhea in people..but it is much more dangerous in puppies that young..

mayb you should take your border collie to the vet immediately. your vet will be able to prescribe something for your border collie to take, and mayb see what's causing your dog to have diarrhea. sometimes though it could be something from the food your border collie eats. you need to make sure you give them the proper food and nothing excessive. i know my old dog (a border collie) had diarrhea at a stage when she was a puppy and it was because there was just some foods that she couldnt eat, and once we stopped giving her that, she soon stopped having it. im not sating that your border collie has the same problem, but it is better for you if you take her to the vet as soon as possible so that it could be treated now rather than later.

Every now and then, my dog would have bouts of diarrhea too. But if I think back hard enough..it's usually because of a diet change. Maybe he was fed table scraps that you weren't aware of..or maybe he found something on the floor and ate it. As long as you know that he has gotten his shots and has been healthy and gotten proper care then I wouldn't worry too much. But if it last for more than 2 days I would take him to the vet. I've also given my dog pedialyte before. But if you decide to do the same..don't give your puppy too much because too much of that stuff might make the stool too hard. I diluted the pedialyte with water and gave little than half the bottle once a day. hope your puppy will be alright.

You should take him asap. If the dog has not had vaccinations, he is suseptable to distemper. I'm sure that's not the case but just to be on the safe side. In the meantime, give him rice and BOILED hamburger. Make sure he has water and if you have to, you may have to give him some water with a syringe if he won't drink. Also, have him checked for worms. Most puppies have them when they are born so if they weren't dewormed properly, they can get diarrhea. Lastly, not sure what kind of food you are giving him, but IAMS tends to make a lot of dogs sick

Is it up on the vaccines? If not then your dog could have Parvo. It also could've eaten something it shouldn't and its body is trying to take care of the problem. Does the poo have blood, worms, what looks like rice? Is the dogs tummy unusually fat. Best bet, take it to the Vet.

If there's no change in diet then I'd say a trip to the vet is immediately important for your dog.

He may have parasites or a viral infection going on. feed him chicken and rice baby food or cook up some chicken breast and rice.
make sure hes drinking plenty of water, you don't want him getting dehydrated. and check and see if he is running a temp. But it could be something he ate.
pups eat alot of things they should not.
I would call your vet in the morning tho.
diarrhea can be deadly in young dogs.

Do not wait. An 11 week old dog will dehydrate rapidly. It is also a sign/symptom of parvovirus. Better to be safe than sorry.

you know what i do when my dogs have diarrhea i cook plain rice and feed them that...then the next day i give them rice and alittle dog food or in your case puppy food...just keep doing that for like 3 days and keep adding a little more dry puppy food..if that doesnt help i would take them to the vet..
